Final round of testing shows the contact form is working with the PostMan plugin. Finally got a working email form.

Well we finally have a working system thanks to use of PostMan over the WP-MAIL-SMTP plugin.

after viewing the log it showed the wrong from address so I went back in change to DreamHost email account and it is working like the other plugin. So that’s good.

Ran another test from the blog contact form this it loaded and sent the email
Looking at your log I can see it authenticated successfully but no email shows up that it should have sent it to.

grrrr, email works except with using this contact form.

I changed it to be the email addr for dreamhost tested and it fails I got the diagnostic output how do you want to get that info?

When I test the WP-MAIL-SMTP the configuration works fine I get an email.

It is configured to go to the DreamHost email server.

I am using the WP-MAIL-SMTP plugin and testing it I do get the emails. So I know my email configuration is working.

I updated to 14.9.3 and still get the same message. There no PHP error displayed on the form.

The email I am testing is in the form of: [email protected]
I don’t enter anything for the website field
For the message just a simple string “this is a message test”

The form fields are: Name, email, website, message

I do have tracking turn on and looking at the form details in that shows everything looks good.

Well 14.9.1 and 14.9.2 email not working, I see no way to test 14.9.

Now we get the message when attempting to send:
Error occurred while sending the message:
Could not instantiate wp_mail function.

Now we get no email.

We are using WP-Mail-SMTP and when I test that plugin I do get an email.

Is 14.9.2 email working?

Don’t know have 14.8.1 installed. I see that 14.9.1 is available. I will update to that and see if it is working.

I was hoping someone might have an idea on this. Appreciate any help I could get.

Ok so I should get an answer section back. I will change the SPF value to your example all I had was SPF per the wiki
