I use the www because I think it is visually better to see the domain name, so I believe that’s better for the visitors.

But anyway, since I use it, I should not revert to “no www”. The same case for when you don’t use it, you should not add the www.

The only reason that I want to save the 4 characters is for twitter tweets. If it wasn’t that, I would of used the complete permalink.

Also, I don’t want to use URL shortening services, because I simply want to use my domain name and give my domain a better exposure.

unchecked that in the options page of that plugin and it worked, thanks ??

Though, the www. prefix will still bug me, a modified version of the function should be used to eliminate it if a blog uses the www.

Actually, that is what I thought the “WordPress 3 shortener function” does but it didn’t !!!

I saw the URL, it uses WordPress’s own URL shortner service wp.me
Test it and see the twitter URL argument (url=)

You want to tell me that this cannot be solved from the Addtoany plugin side? I know that it could be solved from the “Improved Include Page” plugin side but I believe that it could be solved from the Addtoany side as well.

There is a similar problem when the “Sociable for WordPress 3.0” plugin is used and I issued a support thread about it here:

The difference from what showed with the Addtoany is that on Page2 it only showed the social media bar after the include code and didn’t show it after the text of Page2, while with the “Sociable for WordPress 3.0” plugin showed the social media bar twice on Page 2 as you can see here:

I think that there is a way for the Addtoany plugin to identify the correct hook as it only showed the social media bar once.
