Thank you very much, the redirect to has worked fine, but why don’t you iclude this option into the plugin’s setting, because it is very important. As you may know that login in first place required for accessing content, so it should redirect back to the required content(e.g Download page).

actually the screen_icon and get_screen_icon were deprecated and can’t be used any more and maybe one of your plugins still uses one of them, so no worry just wait and the plugin author will update it.
i had this notice before and figured out that it only shows in a specific plugin’s options page, so i made some searches and found that the other plugins that don’t generate this notice are applying this check first

if ( function_exists('screen_icon') ) screen_icon();

so you can do your own search and make your edits or wait until update

it logs in now but what happens if i removed the line i mentioned or commented it

actually i already have the tutorial steps done. I enabled the logged in users and didn’t rename the wp-login.php file. but i have a custom login page it my be the problem and i think i should also exclude it. i will try and inform if there is new

Yes, but as you know sometimes we need to make some edits to styles, I hope you figure this out , it is really annoying and i like your plugin

The problem is solved now, It was some errors in the HTML which i checked with w3.org validator, which i corrected it and now it works fine

Thanks for your reply. actually you know that the edit post screen in wordpress dashboard have the categories meta box. and i use categories for navigation, but sometimes i mistake choosing the parent category while i wanted to add the post to the child. it is not a big deal , but i thought what if i removed all the Parent categories or even a specific category form that meat box. So is there any way to do this.
