It seems that there has been a misunderstanding here, as this is related to another plugin, WP Broken Link Status Checker

That plugin is also shown in the file path that you’ve shared with your review:

Filename: wp-content/plugins/wp-link-status/core/curl.php

Finally, we also had one of our developers to double-check this out, and our Broken Link Checker plugin doesn’t include any such file either.
