Currently, We don’t have any custom mysql table connection but we are working on it. We mainly store table data in a custom database table and serve those.

2. Can filters and sorting be added to the columns
– Yes, We have custom filter functions where you can build filters.

3. Does the whole site including the datable become reponsive ie work on a mobile with not a lot of customisation
– Table build with Ninja Tables is fully responsive. Please check our demo.

4. Can we add our own PHP code to filter/interrogate the table
– We have several hooks that you can customize the features.

We don’t have that feature yet. But We are working on it and will be available in the upcoming version.

In Pro you will get manual sorting option. But If you just need sorting I don’t recommend you to buy pro version. If you need more feature You can consider.

What you can do actually. Just export the table as csv. Sort the data using excel / google sheet and save as csv and then import.

Or the best way will be, You can just export data from TablePress as CSV and then import directly to Ninja Tables.

We have fixed the sorting issue in version 3.2.2 of Ninja tables and Ninja tables Pro.
Would you please check that on latest version.
