It’s working, although the wordpress is saying it’s not able to update themes or plugins neither upload midia files. I’ll try to work on that, search on forums, and if I need help, I’ll open another thread.

I have followed all the instructions. Strangely, I didn’t have a .htaccess file, and I checked for hidden files, but I created one, and the error remained. As you asked, here is the log from my error log:

Would it be something inside the wp-includes or something regarding users? Note that, since I couldn’t access the dashboard, there is only one user, myself, set during the installation. And the password I set was really simple.

@marcio-zebedeu, following your suggestion, I discovery something: When I set permalinks to the default option, all the pages work well. The problem is when I set permalink to use /%postname%/…

Same happens with Twenty Seventeen and with Twenty Nineteen. I’m actually using Twenty Twenty.

This happened after I set the virtual host. When I was setting the website, using the default configuration (000-default.conf) and accessing the website through https://IP/path/index.php, I was able to use the names of the posts at the permalinks.

Thanks @marcio-zebedeu ! Because of your suggestion I could see that my problem may have to do with permalinks…

I make it work deactivating some other plugins that probably was using too much memory.

Steven, you’re absolutely right, and thanks specially for the “Remain calm” advice… I’m still shaking, it has never happened to me.

I had fixed the issue, downgrading to the older version of the theme, but now it was upgraded automatically.

Is there anyone using this child theme with this new version of Mesocolumn?

If so, what would be the header of the necessary files on the child theme folder? Maybe that’s my problem.

Richie, my website just disappeared after the update.

The dashboard was still there, but the website was just blank.

I use a child-theme, and I have copied the not updated theme from another website. It worked, so I got my website back (without the page colors but this is not a problem). But I’d like to know what may have happened and may be able to use the last update.

Any clue? Didi it happened to anyone else using mesocolumn-child?

I’ve solved the issue changing the theme. Not the ideal solution, but it was a store with a dead line to go online, so I needed to find a solution. Now the customization works fine.

But the page you just showed me is extremely useful!

Let me explain why the solution of the manually selection doesn’t work for me. I have an astronomy website (https://celestialchart.com), where I post daily astronomical ephemeris to United States, Australia, United Kingdom and other countries.

The posts are automatically generated and posted, and I send each one to the respective Facebook fan page (there is a fan page for each country). The only way to manually select would be to edit each one, what would not be efficient.

I’ve solved this in another way, but, once I love Jetpack, I’ll wait forward to see this update.

Thanks a lot Matt. This is a solution that I hadn’t considered.

Actually, I’d rather use a plugin juts to have more control. A good solution would be to install a plugin that posts from a selected categoy (like FaceBook Autopublish) more than once, setting each instalation to post posts from a selected category to a selected page.

I have tryed that but, of course, WP complains abaout redeclarations ??
