In reply to: [Health Check & Troubleshooting] useless piece of trashHi, Jan
I didn’t look too much into that problem because I didn’t have time to loose reading and understanding a code that wasn’t mine.
My mistake was to assume that that plugin would actually work fine, so yes, I didn’t spend time reading the reviews. That was my mistake.
It was a local website not a live one, if it were a live one I would have killed myself, but a local dev environment can be re-build, even though the effort I’ve put into it is now history…
It was also pointless to leave my review. It wasn’t helpful and it sure did not help anyone. Again, my bad.
I hope you will have a nice weekend!

In reply to: [Health Check & Troubleshooting] useless piece of trashHi Jan
First of all, it was a dev site, a lot of work I’ve put into it (create posts, products, sliders, categories, tags, etc) and I saw this plugin on the plugins page and I thought I’d give it a try, giving the dev environment.
I’ve installed and activated then clicked the Troubleshoot mode. I didn’t expect to get an Internal Server error which almost gave me a heart attack because I didn’t get to commit my changes. Luckily, your great plugin didn’t erase anything, just a lot of errors in the debug.log. Something about not finding custom-header.php or something.
It might be worth mentioning I was working on a theme, and no, I don’t have that file in my theme folder.
I thought I’d delete the plugin and things will get back to normal… riiiight… the same errors kept popping up in the log file. I even restarted Apache server, but that didn’t help either.
Once I deleted the plugin, there was a message in the admin area saying that I don’t have a default theme or something, while I had 2017 installed…
Anyhow, your plugin just made me erase the db and reinstall, so thanks a bunch, again.
The “crap” was too nice a word, but I get it, it’s not helpful… same as your plugin, I might add.

In reply to: [Extended WP Reset] how should we use it in mulitisite?Hello, Alex
From what I see that plugin creates multiple networks and no, I didn’t, but I will have a look over it in the next few days.

In reply to: [Extended WP Reset] how should we use it in mulitisite?Hello, Alex
You can use this plugin to either reset your whole network or a single site.
If you network activate it and use the reset from the Network dashboard, then it will reset your whole network (that is, delete all your subsites).
If you want to reset a subsite only, then to go that subsite and reset it from the plugin’s menu from there.
Have a wonderful day!

In reply to: [WP Password Policy Manager] Users not getting email about pasword resetHello, Noumaan
Thank you for letting me know. I’m going to look again into it again, even if I couldn’t replicate this issue on any of my tests…
Can you please check with your webhost if they block repeated emails requests? That might be a cause of why this happens.

In reply to: [WP Password Policy Manager] User Passwords ExpiringHello, vanguardxm
I didn’t yet figure out what is causing this issue. Refreshing the page and clearing the cache might work.
Can you please try it and let me know?
Thank you
Regards,
CostinGreat to hear that fixed it ??
Thank you so much! ??
Regards,
Costinhmmm.. I don’t get that error on my testing sites, so I’m assuming this must be related to soemthing else…
You can try this thought:
Locate this: $action = $wppm::WP_CRON_ACTION; it should be on line 1615, and replace it with this: $action = WpPasswordPolicyManager::WP_CRON_ACTION;
This should make the error go away. I can’t think of anything other than that…
PLease let me know if that worked out for you
Regards,
CostinI’ve released an update to fix that error.
Thanks again!

I like your idea. If I have time, I’ll implement it in this update, otherwise it will have to wait for the next one. But it will be implemented, definitely.
