For what it’s worth: There does not seem to be anyone with an answer. So instead, I just use another plugin “Strictly Auto Tags” for this. It needs some tweaking, but it does the job!

In addition: If anyone knows of a similair plugin that can feed-to-post and use categories, please share! ??

While waiting for an aswer on these forums, I am also looking for a solution on another forum. Will let you know if I have any new information. After all, RSS Multi Import is a great plugin, but auto-tagging would make it so much more powerful! ??

On a related note: I just found out that the plugin RSS Multi Import is no longer on the www.remarpro.com page. If anyone here knows what happened, please let me know ?? Cheers!

Are you using “Feed to post” (also known as “Autopost”) or displaying shortcode? The database only gets filled when you use the autopost feature…

Try activating a different theme. Most (if not all) of the settings regarding display and layout are handled by the theme settings.

Check excerpt_function.php (or maybe imposrt_posts.php?) and use str_replace to change ? to ss?

As far as I know, you can create another category and link it to the blog category. Give it a try! ??

On the Autopost page, scroll down to find the following:

***** Restrict feeds to one of your defined RSS Multi Importer categories and place them in your blog categories

Choose a plugin category and associate it with one of your blog post categories. *****

Create a category by clicking “Add another plugin to blog post category association”

I have not seen Allen in weeks, myself. However, I am sure the plugin will work for many WP-versions to come. I am glad to have found this plugin and will still use it, even if maybe abandoned…

I have about 70 RSS-feeds, set to update once every 10 minutes. No problems whatsoever on my site. I see you run other plugins and use filters. Try disabling either of them and see if it updates.

Also, be sure to click “Update database” on the bottom of the “Aitpost” page!

Check your admin panel > Multi Importer > Autopost

@kimmisum: Do you use shortcode to display the feeds in your page? If so, did you make sure to edit the right template file?
