In reply to: Medium and Thumbnail image sizesOK; sorry. I fixed it. It was a conflict with PodPress.

In reply to: Medium and Thumbnail image sizesI’m having a similar problem, but haven’t been able to resolve. I’m using 2.6. The image uploader works fine for me, and inserts the code into my post just fine. However, any changes I make to the settings>miscellaneous panel don’t seem to take effect. For example, I don’t want my thumbnails cropped to 150 x 150px, so I unchecked the box that pertains to that. After doing so, I uploaded a completely new image, and it still is resized/cropped to 150×150. I also tried changing the max dimensions for my Medium image sizes, tested, and again found that it always defaults to 300px, regardless of changes made to the settings. Any tips?

In reply to: windows 2008 Plesk 8.3 IIS 7Samboll, thanks for the link. I actually got permalinks working again on my windows 2008 server (with plesk 8.3) and WP 2.6. I used an IIS7 rewrite module available here…

There’s also useful configuration instructions here…

Hope someone else can benefit from this.

In reply to: Browse and Browse All does not work…I’m having the same issue with the “Browse All” button producing a frame with the Dashboard displayed in it. I’m on a windows 2003 server with IIS6. I’ve tested this with a clean install of 2.3.2 with no plug-ins; same error. On the hunt for a fix…

In reply to: images ‘browse’ and ‘browse all’ broken after 2.3.2 upgradeI’m not. As stated before, I’m on windows box with IIS6. For plugins, I’m using the latest Akismet, all-in-one-SEO-pack, Event Calendar 311rc3, and PodPress. All worked as expected before upgrading to 2.3.2.

In reply to: images ‘browse’ and ‘browse all’ broken after 2.3.2 upgradeI’m getting this too after a 2.3.2 upgrade. I tested with plugins disabled, and get same error. I’m on a windows IIS6 dedicated. We’re also running Event Calendar 311rc3. After triggering the error mentioned above, it also breaks the ability to add dates for an “Events” post.

In reply to: index-extra.php dashboard errorOK. I’m running wp 2.2 on a windows 2003 server; IIS 6. Site: grace.cardwellcreative.com. I’m having a similar, but slightly different issue with the Dashboard. Mine seems to be related to the Event Calendar plug in (version 3.1). I only get the dashboard error when the EC3 plug in is activated.
The error I see in the dashboard reads:
“CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.”We have narrowed it down to a problem with the index-extra.php file. As I said, though, if I disable the EC3 plug in, all is well. Hope this helps someone (and hopefully me).

In reply to: how to format sidebar bookmarks WP 2.1Ahh. I should have been able to figure that out. Thanks for the help. Problem solved!!

In reply to: how to format sidebar bookmarks WP 2.1Brilliant! Thanks so much for your help. The only thing left for me to figure out is how to adjust the margin on the link itself (so it is centered in the sidebar). I can see that you’re able to specify li.linkcat in the css; how would I specify the link itself?
