2) I’m not an PHP-Expert. I understand, that <textarea> could be a way to create fields with 3 lines, but as far I understand the code in attributes-public.php, this would be change all fields and not only the adress-field. Do I understand something wrong?

Hi Caimin,

At first I checked only edit_event_categories and now both. But in the form for anonymus Event Submission there is no possibility to add, edit or delete a categorie. I only can mark the categries.
How does this work with anonymus Event Submission?

Ah, I see. You only see the correct Sender-Email if EM sent an Email, not with the test. That’s the irritated at this point. But now I know it ??

thanks for your answer. This is a pity. In my case there is an Event -Day at different locations throughout the country with more than 100 Events. Is it possible to disable the day in the form and to set the date in background in the database?

I asked because all event-manager will use the form for this day and they ask how to keep it simple ??

ich habe leider genau das gleiche Problem und vermute, dass es mit dem Theme zusammenh?ngt. Ich verwende HappenStance Premium und auch dort werden auf der Blogseite die Shariff-Buttons nicht angezeigt: https://wptest.gerdzim.ch/blogseite/

Das Theme verfügt auch über eigene Social-Media-Buttons, die habe ich aber im Theme abgeschaltet.
Ich habe dann testweise Twenty thirteen/fourteen/fifteen aktiviert. Diese Themes stellen alle auf der Blogseite immer den kompletten Beitrag dar und dann werden die Shariff-Buttons auch bei jedem Beitrag angezeigt.
Bei HappemStance oder auch Zerif Lite wird immer nur der Vorschautext angezeigt und dann werden keine Sharif-Buttons angezeigt, auch nicht wie bei Seiten oder einzelnen Beitr?gen ganz unten.

Vielleicht hilft diese Beobachtung bei der L?sungssuche weiter.

I change to Ultimate FAQ 3 month ago and now most of my missed features are realize. That’s great!

Only one suggeston for the FAQ:
I think most of the WP-Users are not familar with coding, so it’s easier to use shortcodes, if you know the correct writing of attributes. I made an example:

?[ultimate-faqs]: display all FAQs, or only specific categories using “include_category” and “exclude_category” attributes (both take a comma-separated list of category slugs).
Example: [ultimate-faqs include_category=your_category1, your_category2]

Would be great if you add something like this to make it easier for code-dyslexics like me ??

thanks for the new Feature “Switched the “+” beside each FAQ to a “-” when it’s open”. That what we need.
But unfortunately now the Accordion (Close old open FAQ when a new one is clicked) didn’t work. I saw this on my page and tested with my test-WP. Installed Ultimate FAQ 0.23. Accordion works. Update to 0.24 Accordion didn’t work. https://themes.gerdzim.ch/plugin-demo/faq/ultimate-faq/

Hi,

I think Bob had the problem with custom CSS. In my WordPress there was no issue with custom CSS. When I insert code and save it was saved, when I clear custom CSS and save, it was empty. Hope Bob can clarify this.

I don’t know the reason, why CSS on one page was with and on other without underline. I used other FAQ-Plugins before, possible this was the reason? but as I wrote, after recreating the first two pages, layout is consistent.

I misunderstood the function of the code, because I’m waiting for the feature with changing symbols;-)
For me it’s easier to choose one symbol from a list. Possible there are some extravagant styles, but that is not important for me. There are several standard-symbols for such symbol like +/- or arrow right/down. I’m not familar with upload icons.

Your theme has the text-decoration to underline for all “a” on one page. The other has it set to none.

I wonder why this was not in the first 2 FAQs and only in the last 4. The style.css for the child-theme define it without underline. I recreate the first two pages and change the CSS-Settings for the child-theme. Now all FAQs have the same layout.

I also delete the Custom CSS in Ultimate FAQ and save. In my WP this was saved correctly. Possible Bob have another problem with this.

I hope we do not have to wait too long before this missing feature of changing symbols is realized. We have several users here, who want to use this. Don’t get me wrong, Ultimate FAQ is the best Plugin we have for this, everything can be done better ??
