Sorry to be late to the party but how do you patch the vulnerabilities manually? I read the bulletin at https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2015/06/03/3 but not understanding how to actually fix the problem. Is there another web resource out there that can help with that part?

Is anyone else on your staff or project also posting to this forum? I’ve seen several threads relating to your church project and don’t want to get them mixed up.

A couple of questions for us that will help narrow down the problem: What version of WP are you using? What version of SM? What theme are you using? Is it available for download or did you purchase this theme?

I see. So what happens when you attempt to validate with the specificfeeds feed? Obviously the SM feed is not going to work whenever you have another feed plugin taking over the process.

You meant “service-type” and yes it is possible by adding a fifth sorting taxonomy option to the code. I see you managed to do this already as I visited your site today.

Don’t worry about your sermon data as that is untouched.

As for the error, it looks like your theme “newsong” is barrowing code from sermon manager and therefore causing a conflict. I googled the theme “newsong” but couldn’t find anything. Where is that theme from?

Until you resolve the conflict between newsong and sermon manager you have to choose whether you want the theme or sermon manager active. Switch the theme and you will be able to activate sermon manager just fine.

Here at WPforChurch we are in the processes of integrating a verses plugin that essentially does that. Since it is still in the initial launch stage it may not be fully integrated with SM as you are requesting. Stay tuned…

There is not a built-in option to make changing that simple. You will ultimately have to modify the code or create a new template for it.

I’m not sure how much of our documentation you were able to read but there is a page dedicated to images for sermon series that could help you.

FYI, the recent SM update version 1.9.6 corrected this issue. If you experience further problems with this particular issue please advise.

Yes, the update to SM version 1.9.6 addressed a podcast title issue which affects a wider base and is currently being discussed in a separate thread. I apologize to all of you who will have to redo your temporary fixes before this is addressed permanently.
