I’m having to add UK to all my job post locations so they don’t show up as US or other countries.
It would be really useful to have a setting for default country.

There were a few other copies of the same file which Securi did not flag up. One was in the root but 3 were in the WordPress Core install eg one was in wp-admin folder.

Seems to have been a clash with another spam plugin (Anti-spam by CleanTalk) which I thought I had switched off when activating Akismet, but hadn’t.

it says “flagged as spam” on the comment but it is in “pending” still.
Will enable debug and send you logs.

I was just doing small numbers to check.
But I realised that as I don’t need the weighting on searches, Relevanssi is actually more than I need for this job.

What I need is for the search to ONLY use my custom field, no title or post content. So each post will only need the term to show.
Then I need them to show in date order as I have a limit on the dates shown. (eg. only show last 100 posts).
So I have instead used code I found here to add my custom field to the search

I was able to install, but when publishing a new ticker post, I got the error

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/website/public_html/new/wp-content/plugins/jquery-latest-news-ticker/includes/custom-post-type-helper-class.php on line 284

Also I was actually hoping I could use it with my latest news posts rather than make more posts.

I moved server to upgrade to PHP 5.3, and I still get a fatal error with this plugin.
It now says
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/worldofa/public_html/new/wp-content/plugins/jquery-latest-news-ticker/includes/custom-post-type-helper-class.php on line 240

I have installed from the dashboard and manually with the same result.
I have switched off all other plugins but if I try to activate this one i get the error above.

I’d love to get this working it looks so much better than the other tickertape plugins!

Hi, I have tried a link to the wp login page with a modal option in my premium theme but it never loads. Not sure if it needs a
But actually I need the options a modal login has, ie. to show ‘login’ if not logged in and ‘hello username / logout’ when the user is logged in.

ah sorry, I missed that you can put the shortcode into the text widget.
I have actually just added the text with css using

.scg_widget #flags:after{content:" Translate this page";}

Just tried putting the shortcode into a text widget, but it just prints the shortcode.

Yes that was my first thought, but the design has each widget in a block of bg colour separate for each one, so that won’t work in this case.
Yes would be a good option, is pretty unusual not to have it for widgets.

Hi, “Multilanguage Mode” is left “unchecked”, we hadn’t used that at any point. Also tried to downgrade to 2.6 as people were saying that fixed it but that didn’t help.

country is UK and server is linux (do you need more info?).

Our site is not public at the moment so could send you a login to see if that helps?

Hi, sorry for delay. Seems to be a problem caused by WPML, so trying to get them to take a look.
Tags don’t autocomplete or show “most popular” in the edit post window, so assume its the same.
