Maybe, but that is so odd. Why would there be such a massive change? I mean, I would never think to check php.ini, given that it’s on a dedi box and the memory limit is more than ample.

In any event, the problem is fixed.

Just as an aside, the one client we have that was on 3.0.3, the upgrade went smooth as a baby’s butt. So, yes, lesson learned.

I manually re-uploaded the files, and it was a no go. Only after I changed that one friggin’ line in php.ini did the problem cease.

I found the problem, and it was in php.ini, something I would have never thought to even check:

Well, I HAVE to have this site up. It looks like I have no choice but to stay on 2.9.

No go. It looks like it’s thinking about it, and then it craps out to a white screen.

I did just that now. And STILL a white screen. Funny thing is I can access SOME things, like the plugins, but when I go to edit a page, or go to the dashboard itself, it’s white screen city.

None of the things he suggested worked.

All I did was upgrade, THROUGH WordPress, and I’m now without a site.

No, nothing like that. All I did was an upgrade through the panel. Nothing changed. And now I have to shut the site down. Thanks WordPress.

I tried to redo the update-core and then it yelled about something to do with an unclonable object.

So now I’m completely screwed out of my site?

Okay, here’s the weird thing: I can navigate to update-core.php, and from there, I can go to other things in the dashboard, but when I try to login via /wp-admin, it’s a friggin’ white screen.
