In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] 6956 Characters added to DOMAbsolutely not – what I’m saying that I don’t see anything added on that URL, let alone 26k characters added to the page on page load. The counter may be triggering to attribute or node changes as well, which could explain that number, but there is almost nothing added on page load – you can check it yourself too.

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] 6956 Characters added to DOMThanks! The previous also worked, because the search was visible. Nothing suspicious here either, everything looks perfectly fine.

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] 6956 Characters added to DOMIt’s not me, unfortunately the forum rules are like that ??
I don’t see anything suspicious on that page, nothing extra seems to be added – I think the tool may detect some other attribute or other changes as well count that towards(?) the overall count. 26k characters is a lot, that would be visible somewhere on the DOM.

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] 6956 Characters added to DOMNo, not at all. That statement is correct. It’s always better to have the least possible elements that you can.
I’m stating that elements are added via user interaction, which does not affect SEO – because the count is different in that case, initially there is nothing added.
I just noticed that you are reffering to the Pro version here – please use the ticket system via this link, as it is unfortunately prohibited to discuss it in these forums (by forum rules).

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] 6956 Characters added to DOMOh, I see – you don’t really have to worry about that. It likely counts when a user search is triggered and results are displayed, which is normal for live/ajax searches (it’s the principle of functionality). It does not affect the SEO in any way though.
All the best,
ErnestHi,
In WordPress there is only a single search results archive page – that is where the plugin redirects. You can set it to redirect to a custom URL or a page, but that will not make the page a “results page” unfortuntely.
If you have the Pro version there is a feature to use certain Elementor widgets for that, but please use this contact form if you have any questions about that, as it is not allowed to discuss that in these forums by the forum rules.

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] 6956 Characters added to DOMHi,
Sure!
It probably counts in when the results are displayed after a search query – for that it’s entirely possible (depending on the number of results etc..), but will not affect the page performance nor the SEO in any ways.
On it’s own the settings and the results container are moved to the document end on page load so they are correctly displayed in the overflow, but these are not visible and will not affect the page in any ways either.
All the best,
ErnestHi,
I’m afraid that is not supported in the Lite version. The only source available is the Google suggestions.
In case you have any questions about the pro version, please contact us via this form, as discussing it is prohibited in these forums by the forum rules.

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] stuck on the red themeHi,
That only means one thing, and it’s the cache somewhere. If there was something else wrong, then the preview would be also incorrect for sure.
Page caches can be very sticky and super difficult to clear in some cases. If you use any CDN like Cloudflare, make sure to purge the cache there too – it’s often forgotten. Then reload the browser by hitting CTRL + SHIFT + R a couple of times to force refresh.
