This version works. I don’t see the error anymore.
Yes, save settings doesn’t fix it.

In reply to: [WP Mail SMTP by WPForms - The Most Popular SMTP and Email Log Plugin] TLS1.2I have the same exact question! I found no information in their documentation.
@nikschavan I figured it out. The BB shortcode didn’t work either. It’s a bug in BB 2.2.2 which conflicts with bbPress. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
@nikschavan I am confused about where to use the shortcode. Should it be on the page I am trying to load as header or footer? Or should it be on a different page, like the home page, to see if it loads the header or footer?
It turns out that bbPress was the problem. As soon as I disabled this plugin it worked. Can someone explain why bbPress would conflict?

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Genius work!Natsia,
I have downloaded the plugin and uploaded it manually. It no longer says WPMU DEV is needed to update however it still says that for MarketPress. Now we will begin the process of testing since you always break something in an update…Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Genius work!I have 2.0.3.1 installed. I removed the WPMU dashboard from plugins. CoursePress says a new version is available but that automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.
I will attempt to download it and manually update it.

I appreciate you removing the course restrictions. However to get 2.0.4 you are FORCING us to use the WPMU DEV dashboard to update CoursePress, and we must have a WPMU account to use the dashboard. You only offer paid accounts for $600/yr. This is b*llsh*t. I am not paying you a dime for CoursePress when you do sh*t like this.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] payments not workingWe have MarketPress Lite 2.9.5.6 installed. To my knowledge it’s the version that was installed with CoursePress.

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] payments not workingIt doesn’t work. I replaced the file again. I tried from 3 different browsers and created a new user each time and every time I was able to enroll in the course without purchasing. The button for the course says Enroll, not purchase or subscribe or anything else. We are running 2.0.3.1.
Here’s the link: https://empowersoundstudios.com/courses/. The theme is based on your default CoursePress theme and uses the functions file from the default CoursePress theme.

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] payments not workingThis fix did NOT work. I am still able to enroll in a paid course for free.

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Fatal Error after latest updateThere’s no easy way to move your data out of CoursePress. There is an export option but it creates an archive for import to another site running CoursePress. It’s possible you’ll be able to work with those files, but you’ll probably have to do it the old fashioned way of copying and pasting.
The best option for using a different LMS would be to set up a new staging site, configure it out how you want, set up the courses, and then make that your production site. I don’t know if that’s an option for you or not, but it would give you a clean start.
My site owner wants to stick with CoursePress because she is comfortable with it, but I would change if it was an option for me.

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Fatal Error after latest updateCheck that CoursePress is active. When I did the latest update I got an error and discovered the plugin somehow deactivated itself…
I have had nothing but problems with CoursePress. It is hands down the worst quality plugin I have ever used. It is full of bugs and every update breaks something. My advice is to switch to something else. CoursePress is ridiculously overpriced given the quality… LearnPress is free for unlimited courses. WP Courseware is $100/yr for unlimited courses. Sensai, from Automattic (the company behind WordPress), is $129/site for unlimited courses. LearnDash is about $150/yr for unlimited courses. Then we get CoursePress — a ridiculous $600/yr for unlimited courses.
