please ensure that you are using our latest version 9.3.1 and the following settings are properly configured.

1. General Settings > Chat enabled > Yes
2. General Settings > Exclude chat from ‘Home’ page > Unchecked
3. Chat Box > Chat box for logged in users only > Unchecked
4. Offline messages > Disable offline messages > Unchecked ( if you have checked that option and no agent is available then chat will not be loaded )

If all settings are configured as you need to be , then try to clear your website’s cache. There is a known conflict with caching and some of our settings like “operation hours” which causes this type of issues. A fix will be part of our upcoming release.

plugin doesn’t support this behavior and due to the implementation it’s not easy to achieve that through css.

A possible way to do that which is up to you to implement it, is to disable animations from settings (applies to desktop and mobile) and then write your own animation with css for the <call-us> element. But I want to point out to you that you have to be careful with this kind of customizations because they are not supported and it is possible to be incompatible with new releases.

may you share with us a screenshot of the current configuration, only the section in settings with the includes and excludes from pages and posts , and the desired functionality (in which pages you want the chat to be available) either here or with an email at [email protected].

3CX live chat plugin doesn’t support access customization, so it is not possible to change access permissions on Chat history for admin users.

if any cache system is used by your WordPress please take care to clean the pages that you need to be updated after settings change.

Also please be sure that your 3CX Live Chat is properly configured. In settings there is only the capability to exclude Post types not to include them.

5. Do you have a multi-site WordPress installation?
6. Which theme do you use?
7. Provide us a list of the installed plugins.

the feature that you are requesting is available in 3CX Live chat plugin only on 3CX mode which provides also a unified messaging experience for other channels like sms and Facebook messenger.

it’s probably a conflict with some other plugin. Please try to disable one by one the other plugins and check if Live chat works. If you conclude with which plugin there is the conflict please let us know.

1) Which version of the plugin do you have installed?
2) Which version of PHP do you use?
3) Which version of WordPress do you use?
4) A list with the installed plugins.
5) Which theme do you use?
6) Do you have a multisite WordPress installation?`

thank you for your feedback , there is an issue and Default agent’s name gets applied only when Show agent’s name is disabled. We will include a fix for that in one of our upcoming releases.

3CX Live chat plugin agent’s chat is not optimized for small screens.
By your description I suppose that you are trying to use it in a mobile device. If that the case I suggest you to take a look on 3CX mode which between many other features offers also full compatibility for mobile devices.
Nevertheless if you are facing these issues on your desktop please share with us a screenshot with an open chat in order to we are able to proceed with further investigation.
