I have changed code so that activation can work even for PHP < 5.3. You can try it.

Happy to know that PHP update resolved the error.Yes, the problem with a particular PHP function which can be used only if version is 5.3 or greater than 5.3. However, I will update the code to make the plugin activation successful for lower version also. Thanks again for notifying me about that error.

Please reply here only. Multiple entries for same error will create confusion.

can you please download it again and try to install it? I am not getting any such error on activation.
If you are having same error, please provide some basic information such as wordpress and PHP versions being used by you.
