Thank you! That worked. Great support for a non-paying user of your plugin! I appreciate that.
Cool, good to hear that. To make sure that the translation file could not get lost by accident (like deleting the plugin for any reason by someone else in the future and reinstalling it again) I would like to put it at a place where it is 100% safe from deletion like wp-content/languages.
I tried several methods to achieve that but I found no working way to put it somewhere else. I inspected your code and found no filter to hook into to alter the path for the language file.
I am not that experienced as a WordPress developer. Therefore it is possible that I am missing something. If there is any way to achieve putting the translation file somewhere else I would love to hear about that. But IF there is no easy way doing it I don’t wanna bother you, because I am not a paying customer. I can understand that you have not unlimited time to answer questions for non-paying users of your plugin.
Thank you for your kind support so far!
Thank you for your reply! That means, if i put my translation file inside the languages folder of the woo-notification plugin it will be kept if I update the plugin?
Hi ncompass,
you are the master of my day!!! Thank you very much for this little trick!!! Even though, that I didn’t have to insert such a large Google AdWords Conversion script, your trick helped me a lot. I had to track my form with a normal google analytics tracking code snippet. But the normal alternative to put it in the additional Settings box didn’t work. The flashbox appears but the js code after this in the additional Settings box did’n run. Instead of long debugging sessions I tried your suggestion and it works well!
Thank you for this!
