In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & WhatsApp] contact wpformIf you changed the colours to black during the installation, you can simply go to the plugin settings – styling and change the colours to whatever you like.
Also to set the plugin can be set to ask for:
-Nothing
-Name
-Email
-Name and EmailThere is no option to also add a message. This is a good idea. We’ll try adding it in a future version of the plugin.

We found out that this was caused by an issue with our chat service last week. Because of some timeouts with the service, user pages would load very slowly.
The issue was resolved and we’ve taken measures so this doesn’t happen again. We’re also releasing a new version of the plugin that will eliminate this fully from even happening.
Our apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused.

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & WhatsApp] i2.wp.com cookiesi2.wp.com is used for getting the user/agent avatar when a chat starts. This is a service officially provided by wordpress themselves.
-We make an API request to this service with the user’s entered chat name e.g: “Leo”
-This service then returns an avatar containing the letter “L” which becomes the agent’s/user’s avatar.Removing them is not possible unfortunately as this would break the UI if no avatars are present.
If you need a 100% fully on-premise solution, i’d have to suggest you use the “3CX Integration” mode of the plugin which will require you to install your own PBX server somewhere to act as the data passthrough. This will eliminate even these minor external calls to the internet.

Could you possibly provide a link to your site so we can take a look at what errors appear when we try to start a chat?

Keep in mind that the older version of the plugin is not updated anymore and will be deprecated once the new version is more stable.

I believe there’s 2 different issues here.
1) The error i see in the screenshot you provided indicates that there’s a different problem with your site.
2) Regarding the site slowness you mentioned, we’ve had some issues with our live chat service on Friday last week. The issue with our service caused customer sites to take a long time to load. This slowness was resolved. We’re also releasing a new version of the plugin that will prevent this from ever happening again.

-Please uninstall and re-install the plugin.
-Once you’ve re-installed it, try saving again. If it fails to save, you should see one of the tabs lighting up indicating that there are some fields with errors that you’ll need to fix.Forum: Plugins

Agent answer time is set to 120 seconds after which the chat is considered unanswered and is automatically closed. There is also a 10 minute inactivity timeout which will also auto close the chat.
Can you provide more detail on what you’re experiencing as i’m unsure how this can happen.

If you’re referring to the chat notifications, you’ll need to ask the site admin to unassign you from being a chat agent if you want to stop receiving them.
Alternatively you can use the “Logout from chat” button on the top of the page to exit chat mode.

Unfortunately triggers is one of the capabilities we’ve had to remove from the plugin due to technical issues during our re-write of the plugin.
We plan to re-add it, however some time is required.

Please uninstall the plugin and re-install it freshly from www.remarpro.com.
If it doesn’t fix the issue, please provide a screenshot of the left side panel so we can see which menus are visible. This will give us some hints of what might be happening.
