In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Can’t save eventsGood morning,
this was just a little embarrassing … I had a zoom with a school on whose website I use the plugin. I wanted to show the teachers how to set appointments themselves.
I showed everything. It worked, although it took a long time to update each time.
Then when the teachers tried it themselves (1 computer, Apple, 1 copied event) updating caused a “critical error”. I could see the event list afterwards, but could not edit or move an appointment to the trash. Nothing.
So quickly I did not even know what to do. We then ended the meeting. After that I “simply” deactivated the plugin and activated it again. Now everything works again.
However, I do not want to enable the users, because they should not have admin rights.I find the plugin super, besides, I do not know any alternative, but grad is all a bit exhausting …
Kind regards

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Can’t save eventsDear Team,
I am very sorry that I am answering only today. (So we, the users, are quick to ask and slow to thank …)
Anyway: everything is working again as it should. I am VERY grateful to you!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Can’t save eventsHi,
I just updated to the latest version and the problem still exists?! Why are new versions released without solving such a serious problem? I know the plugin is free. And I am very grateful, but this is taking quite a long time now, isn’t it?
Friendly greetings

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Can’t save eventsMe too!
Came here to look if I’m the only one with that problem … I can post NEW events but I cannot save any changes. So it must be correct at my first try (it never is).- This reply was modified 1 year, 11 months ago by WP-Dummie.
Dear Michael,
thank you for your follow-up.
I talked to a friend on the phone earlier, whom I always ask when I’m stuck. He also asked about the PHP version: old and new domain have PHP 7.4.
Then we looked for https, both have it too.
He suggested that I just reinstall the plugin and that worked (but it irritated that the settings were still there, I prefer if the entries disappear from the database when I delete a plugin …).
He also said that I could of course change the widget header via CSS again. I had been irritated that the new style was in a different CSS file.
I did that and now everything is fine and I’m very happy again with your great plugin!
Happy greetings

Dear Michael,
I haven’t looked to see if the widget looks “ugly” in print. It looks “ugly” in the frontend.
I could live with it if it wasn’t so nice in print, but it has to look good in frontend ??Here is a screenshot of the widget area in the backend.

Do you need more informations from me?Have a nice weekend!
Dear Michael,
thank you for your answer. I will take screenshots.
Unfortunately, now I have an additional problem. I moved the installation to the final server and got a serious problem (Both installations are at the same hoster but on different accounts). After I disabled the plugin by renaming it, everything was fine. Here is the error message from WordPress (as an email to admins):Since the site is not yet live, I have replaced the relevant data with # Hello! Since WordPress 5.2, there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site and notifies you with this automated email because of it. In this case, WordPress has caught an error in one of your plugins, Print My Blog. First, visit your website (https://#/) and check it for visible problems. Next, visit the page where the error occurred (https://#/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https://#/wp-admin%2F&reauth=1) and check for visible issues. Please contact your hosting company for assistance in investigating this issue further. If your website seems to be faulty and you can no longer access your dashboard as usual, WordPress now has a special ?recovery mode“. This way you can safely log into your dashboard and investigate further. https://#/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=……… To protect your website, this link will expire in 1 day. But don‘t worry: a new link will be emailed to you if the error reoccurs after the deadline. @famethemes So why don’t you just help people here instead of asking them to write their problem again on your site? That would be very nice. Or at least add this issue to your FAQs.@all: Can anybody help? Did anybody find a solution for this problem?

In reply to: [Category Posts Widget] html-tag in TitleI don’t understand your last answer ??
Maybe I should just delete the plugin. I needed it formerly but I don’t need it that urgent right know because I removed a category from my menue. And it’s a lot of thinking and work for you for one single stupid user.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Category Posts Widget] html-tag in TitleI don’t understand “but you haven’t a carriage return for the BR?”
Sorry for confusing you, I try again to explain (my english is not very good …):
I had that br-tag until the last update. It worked. After the update it did not work anymore. Instead it was shown in my frontend as shown in the first screenshot. In the footer, where I use widgets without plugin, everything is still alright: https://gross-im-netz.com/images//br_tag_footer.png

In reply to: [Category Posts Widget] html-tag in TitleTHANK YOU! Esp. for your patience!
But – orrrrrrr, no!
That wasn’t, what I wanted …
I need the br-tag in my widget-title!!!
After doing both steps that you described for me it isn’t even possible to write the tag in the dashboard form field for widget-title :(( It is removed instantly.
