You should add WOWSlider php code in the place where you want your slider to appear. We don’t know where is this place, so we couldn’t “guess” an exact line in your code.

The reason of problem is a conflict with your “style.css” file:

Also, I found that thumbnails aren’t aligned properly inside frames. Solution above will fix this problem too.

You can change images, template or transition effect with WOWSlider application only. It’s impossible to do directly in WordPress.

1. Create the slideshow with WOWSlider application.
2. Publish it to html page (in any test folder of your computer).
3. Open index.html file from the saved folder in any text editor (Notepad for example) or you can:
– open index.html page in any browser
– right click on the page
– select view source of the page.
You’ll find ‘engine’ and ‘data’ folders in this saved folder also.
4. Copy code for the HEAD and BODY sections of WOWSlider.
5. 3) Only position of WOWSlider BODY section affects on slider displaying on your page. There is no any specific place in HEAD section. You can paste WOWSlider HEAD section in any place between <head> and </head> tags.

So, if your original images were deleted or moved into another folder, they couldn’t be opened. You can edit paths manually. Please see a detailed instruction in our FAQ:

Also, WOWSlider provides “Use relative paths to image in project” option since v.2.1. It allows to move WOWSlider project file and folder with original images from one folder to another or from one computer to another without manual editing of paths.
It will be easier to do it, if all your original images and WOWSlider project file is stored in the same folder.Forum: Plugins

If problem will persist, please send us a local copy of your page (including images, .css, .js files), so we can check it. To do it, in any browser go to

1) It depends on markup of your page and place that you selected for WOWSlider. We have never seen your page, so it’s impossible to guess exact line in your header.php file.
2) Actually, WOWSlider doesn’t generate any line at the top of the page. Also, it has not #branding class in CSS.
3) You should paste WOWSlider HEAD section in the HEAD section of your page and WOWSlider BODY section in the BODY section of your page. If you’re not able to edit HEAD section of your page, it’s possible to paste both WOWSlider HEAD and BODY section into BODY section of your page.
4) Please contact with customer support. Provide us a directly link to your webpage with a problem.
Also, why do you insert WOWSlider manually? WOWSlider HTML code will be inserted automatically and “data”, “engine” folders will be uploaded automatically, if you use WOWSlider plugin. Please see video tutorial on our website:

There are hundreds of themes and plugins for WordPress. Of course, we couldn’t check all of them.
Also, we don’t know what plugins and theme do you use.Please send generated module and project file (.wowsl) to Customer Support (at support [at] wowslider [dot] com), so we can check them.
Using latest WP and the latest WOW slider.
When I scroll up or down the page up to the point where the WOW slider is not visible anymore, it starts to show semi-transparent rotating slides across the entire screen of the viewer.

It also shows some deprecated functions (using the Deprecated Calls plugin) and conflicts with the Socializer plugin (the only plugin I could find so far which shows social buttons on blog archive pages and homepage as well as in the individual posts/pages).
