There is no insert as gallery button. This is why I was looking for the code [gallery ="3" ????] to insert the gallery manually into the page. Please see screenshot.

In reply to: Comments not appearingTo anyone else with this problem, I did a lot of googling and it seems a pretty common problem and there is a ton of information out there for you to wade through. My problem was in the htaccess file and I removed a piece of code that was supposed to block comment spam by denying access to no-referrer requests. Unfortunately it blocked all comments, no idea why but comments work now. GOOD LUCK!

I have found the answer to my question regarding why the idea is not appropriate and now know that if I google wordpress experts there are companies set up to answer questions for a small fee. Thanks.

I have installed WordPress NextGen GalleryView and is working perfectly except for a great big arrow in the middle of the image. I have googled this and it seems others have had this problem but so far no-one has answered this issue.
Seems like I go from one problem to the next.
