Thanks. That actually helps a lot!
It won’t solve everything but it solved a few.
I’m getting similar for feeds that SHOULD work.
I wonder what is going on with this thing?
I validate the feeds but the plugin thinks they are no good and can’t seem to fetch the feed or display it so I have these big empty blocks on my aggregator blog…
Frustrating.
turning off email subscriptions made it go away, turning it on makes it come back.
Warning: Missing argument 2 for Jetpack_Subscriptions::comment_subscribe_init() in
/–snip–/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/subscriptions.php on line 700How does one downgrade while preserving the feeds etc of the old install? Is this a complicated process? You can’t simply “upgrade” to an older version as that fails…
Mine doing the same thing since the upgrade. Feeds opening in same window even though the default template setting has open in new window or tab. THe old version worked great.
Also if I try to save a feed it just says something went wrong.
Do you guys QA your stuff before a big release?
Maybe it was something else causing it because my offline blogs are coming back online with that change. Perhaps it was a license server issue for upgraded users or something causing that option to not work, because now they are working and enabled for core file scans. Thanks.

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] SchedulerNo way to send a command line with parameters to the plugin via cron?
Something like 0/15 * * * /call/plugin -scan -fix
I think I found the issue – a Post Expirator Plugin was running. It wasn’t set to do anything regarding wprss feeds, but it was spawning cron jobs to remove them.
So, if you have post expire plugins, be careful!
Update: Now my feed sources went from 10 to 7 – WHY are my feed sources vanishing?
check your server cron jobs that maybe you don’t have another cron entry spawning wp-cron. What I didn’t notice was that I had one from an older install of wp-o-matic and it must have been tying up cron when it was trying to run for these…
I think I stumbled upon a fix by removing other plugins and also removing other cron entries that I didn’t realize were there earlier which were fudging up the works. Now it pulls the new feeds. As for which plugin was causing the caching behavior for non logged in users, I don’t know.
Hi,
I am still getting those cron “now” messages, but my cron IS set up through the cpanel and it’s there. Once that thing runds (every 15 minutes) the cron entries (now) disappear until next time and when cron runs (every 15 minutes) it cleans them up. Isn’t that correct?
I have been disabling plugins left and right and I still can’t get the feeds to import correctly. I even tried the stock theme thing to no avail so I went back tot he plain “saka” theme that I prefer.

I wish this guy would have stated his fix because I am having he exact same problem, even with the caching plugin totally disabled. On one web browser I was using last night it is showing last nights feeds, but on WordPress dashboard logged in and first time site viewing browsers it is showing the latest feed items. Can’t figure it out.
Plugin settings for the RSS importer look good, and the feed items list show the new stuff. For some reason browsers seeing the site last night are retaining the old data, even if I flush their settings. (even Chrome in incognito)

I just realized that my problems started after I installed Better Search Replace plugin to search and replace some URL text in my DB. It worked like a charm but then my problems started.
In not being able to fully delete WP super cache, I remembered this and deactivated the Better Search Replace one and then WP super cache, which I had already deactivated and deleted several times, disappeared. Now it works better and my admin console isn’t so slow.
I’m not sure about reinstalling WP super cache until I see everyone else is okay with this version…
Hope this helps someone..
I had the same thing. I had to go in and disable via CPANEL but now I can’t delete this thing whether I reinstall it or not. It just won’t delete and it’s screwed up my wordpress installation. One that I just spent all day reconfiguring from an XL export….
Sop now I can access my blog but the plugins moodule thinks it’s installed no matter how many times I click disable and delete. Go back into the Plugins and there it thinks it is, with some error text at the top of the page.
me files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/myid/public_html/wp-content/db.php.
W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/myid/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php.
I have removed those files via CPANEL file manager but it think they are there.
I wonder if there is a way to fix this thing?
