I did auto reinstall of 2.8 and it returned to normal ONCE

next time I refreshed the page it stopped serving page so that time settings, save button do not appear, and click on help does not work even though one can edit but not save the TAGLINE box

I have the same problem where every time one upgrades or deactviates the plugin you are given a choice to link the stats going forward to a new history or older database.

I have made the same mistake and lost connection to older stats.

This is a confusing issue with wordpress stats and I wish they would fix it.

I can see no way to DELETE 3-4 duplicate DBs unless having to go into mysqladmin but then that’s not what I am competent to do.

Secondly, the newsest iteration of wordpress stats is not recording visitors well at all. My stats have dropped off the table but awstats and statcounter show steady increase but WP Stats update for wp28 is not working well at all.

Some of my contributors are leery of allowing other contributors even to see titles of others’ draft posts (politics!)

Is there a way to have a contributor edit and SEE just their own posts

As I have the same issue with google analyticator but no way to deactivate it but to go in and tear the plugin out from plugin folder

I just saw the upgrade nag 4/4 and upgraded to .92x and same issue. If I turn off wp-supercache the installed plugins page appears normally

when I turn cacehing back on the plugins are not listed on installed plugin page.

BTW, I appreciate that one can turn on or off wp-supercache from within settings and think that having some alternate way to turn some plugin on or off like you provided should be mandatory for proper plugin etiquette just for times like this when you can’t get at on-off thru installed plugins

Donncha, Let me rephrase issue.

I am using wp 271 with no issues. After I upgraded to wp-supercache 0.92 I can no longer see installed plugins.

But when I go to settings>>>wp-supercache and TURN OFF supercache, installed plugins page works normally until I turn caching back on.

My experience was that i see the unzipping 2.7.1 then nothing after that. Not even next morning.

I am not getting any message after it says unzipping file

nada.

Guess I’m the lucky one.

I tried to do automatic upgrade from 2.7. to 2.7.1 and it gets to download core zip file and then no other activity or update

Is this due to an overworked server and just wait and try again or other advice please?

And yes Bluehost is core compatible (i think)
