I am using wp3.3 on twenty eleven with w3tc and cloudflare. I have deactivated all plugins and same issue

I have the same issue. the media upload window loads (slowly), I click the search image and nothing happens. within a post or in the media library.

It doesn’t work if you search for images either. search works but no thumbnail just title. then if you click on show nothing happens.

So effectively I am unable to add images to posts or to library

Can anyone speak to dream host dedicated service or another less painful hosting for wordpress?

6 days. I updated the ticket four hours ago. That’s what’s going on.

VPS.net has been circling the issue for some days now.

did all that. wp-admin add image can hardly load. takes for ever to load library. nothing happens when I select select file from computer.

I have all plugins off using twenty eleven. Even then I see that icons along the top of html post editor don’t even load.

Trying to work with host VPS.net. Using w3TC and cloudflare and vault press but 500 http errors all around.

I have same issue. wp-admin is very slow with wp331 on twenty eleven, cannot add img via post editor or by media-add new. click on add produces blank stare.

I am having exact opposite issue where posters ARE getting e-mails of comments on their posts ready for moderation when I though only admin would get those messages.

I did so with no effect, with 4.9.5. Then I updated to 4.9.7 and still no effect. I will take some time later today to turn off plugins and see if I can conjure then document a conflict.

I have done every thing recommended above.

I still get 403 permission error when activating or deactivating plugins.

Running plain vanilla twentyten with wp-supercache and cdn sync tool. Same resultsa when on or off.

I also have ongoing problem with autoupdate not working prior to 3.1 and continuing now where file never gets fully downloaded or unpacked as a tmp file is in wp-content later.

The odd thing is this.

My host is vps.net

halfwaytoconcord is on one cpanel and two other wp installs are on another. They work fine and zip along with updates and regualr admin activations etc. Just the halfwaytoconcord site is noxious.

What could I ask host or some het-admin to compare to better troubleshoot, as what I see you guys saying is that there may be something about the PHP install that is causing issues with WP?

ISSUE RESOLVED

Since the issues involved javascript across themes we looked for corrupted files and found .htaccess had been overwritten by test use of BULLET PROOF SECURITY.

BPS had apparently used some of its source for its htaccess rewrite from

https://perishablepress.com/press/2009/03/16/the-perishable-press-4g-blacklist/

The problem was WordPress tries to load jquery-ui-droppable.js file and that htaccess rule flagged these calls as a hacking attempt. Disabling this rule solved issue.

Hopefully this will also clear up the problems with autoupdate not completing
