The article you sent is also helpful but the file paths to each plugin are different. So how to know what paths should be included for any other plugins, in my case, Contact form 7!?

It would be super cool and easy if W3 cache had an option in its setting to recognize the plugins installed and give the option to exclude those easily. That would take this plugin a whole level higher!!! :)))

I would like to add if someone knows of a contact form with file upload and captcha feature that doesn’t conflict with W3 Total cache plugin, please mention here. Thanks ??

This time the image shows but the lightbox doesn’t open. No video showing!

I have bought the plugin and I want to use one of the methods to embed my .mp4 file. But nothing shows up on screen!
Here is the shortcode I am using:

I tried to use the shortcode for flowplayer, but it needed me to have license and then open an account and install flowplayer and even pay extra to have no logo.

Not sure why I have to go such a long way to make this work. I think it should be easier but I don’t know how to work with it. (I haven’t installed the flowplayer yet, and in fact I don’t know if it is a good method for me as I have no clue how it is supposed to look like!)

Can you please tell me what shortcode I need to use to have a simple dark background lightbox?

It is such a shame, It does support all other formats, .mov, flash, vimeo, youtube, … but .mp4? That’s strange!

Yes, that is the plugin I am using and mentioned earlier, although the free version. But it doesn’t work with .mp4. It does with mov files but not mp4. Sigh!

Hi, Me again.

Sorry even though my issue with this plugin was resolved at the time, I found out a new issue So I thought bring it up here as it might get resolved as well.

I had tried to embed a .mov movie using anchor tag embed technique. It worked fine for .mov file. However I can’t make it work for .mp4. once the lightbox opens up, a pop up says “Image cannot be located, make sure your path is correct.” I am sure my path is correct to the video file and even I can see the video in the media library playing.

What can be the issue, any insight to this please?

Although it didn’t directly say that you can use the file name of a video in .mov or .mp4, I figured if it can open an image with the path to the file, it should open a video too, and it did. Beautiful. Thanks a lot.

I couldn’t wait for a fix and I think if you change the plugins files manually they will be gone on the next update.

So I installed Google Analytics plugin by Sharethis and it works kind of similar.

It is not working on my site either. Even with resetting and updating still nothing loads on dashboard.

Not sure how long this has been going on, but it seems not fixed yet as far as my experience.

Has anybody had this issue that is fixed?
