Yes it very well could be a bunch of things, but when this stopped working, the only change that took place was the wordpress 3.5 upgrade and that seems to be common across the board. So we can’t blame wordpress – it has to be something to do with the “everything else” .. his plugin, other peoples plugins, but ultimatly since we dont have control over every single plugin and everyone with different plugins is being affected then we can say that THIS plugin Nextgen Gallery should be handling something better.
Microsoft has bugs in their products that show up AFTER people install other software, but microsoft doesn’t blame the software vendors because any software could trigger the bug in microsofts platform. ITs the same thing here..
This maybe @aitpro but none the less the new jQuery changes might have an impact based on how the author is handling the error/change and an incorrect handling could be causing his plugin to fail …
I setup another site that is on 3.5 and has no plugins and it DOES refresh for me. It also refreshes on a site with plugins so I’m pretty sure that has no barring on what is going on.
I can screen shot verify as needed too … ??
Doesn’t work for me, page also keeps auto reloading and eventually errors out with:
Request-URI Too Large
HTTP Error 414 Request URI too longUhhhhrrgg … please let me know once its fixed and i’ll try to redownload the beta.
Still getting a blank page, this is so annoying. Doesn’t seem like people have any luck or clue on what this error is… has nobody from nextgen been on here to fill us in or help us out?
I got the same issue, blank page with this NextGen gallery. It’s really starting to tick me right off that i’ve used this plugin because I can’t just remove it without having to fix all the images on my blog. SO i’m stuck with trying to fix this and getting the same issue everyone else on the internet is now talking about. I wish someone would step up and try to fix this from nextgen cause its obviously not compatiable with something since so many people with different plugins are having the same issue. PLUS, even if it was an error, there is a blank page, there is no error displayed or anything. Bad handling.
How do we get someone on here to provide us some assistance? Am i in the wrong place?
I have the same problem, why is support not looking into this? We all can’t be using the same theme so there is a common issue, and we need to be made aware of it … support? did you leave us?
