In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Submit reloads page without addingI ended up copying the HTML code from the Constant Contact form builder (on your website) and pasting that, and it worked fine. Sorry I can’t be of more help troubleshooting the plugin.

In reply to: WordPress Admin is sometimes slow and sometimes fastHi @saping,
I am just wondering if you found a solution to your problem, because I have the same. Sometimes my backend page takes 4 sec to load. And then that very same backend page will take 30 sec to load!
I have run several tests on the plugins themselves (deactivating all then re-enabling one by one) as well as tests with P3 profiler, Chrome network analyzer and auditor, and more.
But these are inconclusive because, even when I keep the plugins and server unchanged, I sometimes see huge differences in my admin area load time. This inconsistent load time speed is very strange.
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Folder Gallery] No thumbnail shownI found the issue. I use WPML with different path per language. So my English site is at mysite.com/en/.
The plugin was trying to prepend the image urls with /en/ as well. Any way to avoid this?

In reply to: [Import and export users and customers] Emails not sentHi Javier. That extra feature is just an idea, but it is not something that is required.
The main problem is that the email is not sent to the new users. I am trying with a small CSV of three users. I have tried with the checkbox checked, and tried with it unchecked. But the email never arrives in the new user inbox (not in junk mail either).
I have the latest version of the plugin (1.8.6). I have not configured any custom SMTP settings, the default WordPress settings are configured (and they work properly to send the normal user registration emails from WordPress).
I therefore think there might be a problem with the user email notification feature of your plugin.
Thanks again for the great work.

In reply to: [Import and export users and customers] Emails not sentHello Javier.
First of all, a very big thank you for your work developing this excellent plugin. That is a great service you are providing to the community.
I just want to say that I am also having this problem. The site uses the latest version of plugin and WP and is on a dedicated server which is able to send out emails (for example, all new user emails through the regular account creation process work).
But this plugin doesn’t sent the emails when the checkbox is selected. Also, is it possible to change it to send a URL for them to click and set their password (like the new WP rules dictate)?
Thanks very much!
GregOk thanks for the helpful response.
I’ll see if I can find a workaround and if I do I’ll contribute it in this thread.
Thanks

In reply to: Use random URLs for attachment uploadsHi Catacaustic,
The system has been working like a charm but I just learned that IE8 doesn’t work well with it. The “View” and “Download” options I built using your suggestions simply fail to load the PDF.
My first thought is to tell the client to just upgrade to a good browser. But they are required to use it. Any idea if this is a known limitation of IE8 or something else?
Thanks!

In reply to: Use random URLs for attachment uploadsThank you Catacaustic, that was a really helpful reply! Exactly what I needed and it’s up and running beautifully.
Now I will just need to see how to handle different filetypes on the fly, and how to allow it to download rather than load the file.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Changes won't saveThanks so much for sharing. I will look into those. Not sure if managed hosting (WPEngine) is what I need, since that can restrict the allowed plugins, but perhaps shared hosting with SiteGround would be an upgrade from GoDaddy. Thanks again Josh.

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Changes won't saveHi Josh, thanks again for the quick reply.
It is hard to make the error happen. It used to happen 50% of the time I made any change, but now it’s only about 5-10% of the time.
I wouldn’t rule out hosting either. I am with GoDaddy and they aren’t the greatest.
I will try disabling plugins and let you know if I get any closer to determining the culprit.
On a side-note, have you had positive experience with certain hosting providers, and if so do you mind sharing with me the company name and package? I have done a lot of research online as I am thinking about switching, but so many opinions out there that a single recommendation from a competent person who uses WordPress a lot might be better!

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Changes won't saveHi Josh,
It seems that the issue is continuing to occur. When I make a change to a pod’s field, for example, it will sometimes save the change, sometimes not. In all cases it tells me that my changes were saved, but they aren’t always.
Same thing if I edit a specific pod item.
Also, if I delete a few pod items through bulk delete, it will always say they were successfully deleted. But sometimes they are actually still there and I need to do it again.
Here is my log. Thanks for any thoughts you may have: https://bit.ly/SlbvTn

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Changes won't saveThanks Josh, you’re a star. I updated my php5.ini file to have session.save_handler point to a temp directory I created in my root with 777 permissions and now it works.
Not sure how that disappeared in the first place. But it wasn’t a Pods issue after all.
Thanks again!
On a similar topic, when the name field is displayed in the Admin Table Columns, is there a way to have it respect the {@first_name} magic tag set in the “Display Field in Selection List”. This way it would show the first_name in the column, rather than an ID #?
Thanks again.
Ok thanks for the prompt reply. I look forward to it.
Thanks again for an absolutely outstanding tool.
