Great questions.
No, we do not serve ads. If a partner sides chooses to show links from other sites, these links are selected purely based on relevance and there is no paid, sponsored, or premium content. The links are intended to help readers find great content, and, for publishers with multiple sites, to drive traffic across these sites.

In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] BrokenI’m sorry that your settings page is not working. Can you please send me an email at [email protected] with the URL of your site? I’ll start debugging from that.

In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] Disable links to PagesThanks for giving Related Content a try. We shouldn’t be recommending any sort of pages. Can you send me a link to your site and we’ll try to debug?
Thanks for the heads up. Sometimes the plugin will display a default set of recommendations (usually the most popular on your site) if it is having trouble parsing the content and these links might stay for a few hours while we rebuild the cache. I’ve just checked your site in Firefox and I think the correct links are displaying now. I’ll check later in IE8 and get back to you.
Sorry, it was actually fixed but we had to temporarily fallback to opening in new tabs in order to fix an unrelated bug. We’ll have it set back correctly early next week.
We’re trying to build more flexibility every month. You should be able to turn links on your home page off / on — there is a bug affecting some users that is inhibiting that and we’ll have a fix early next week.
If you want more flexibility than that, you can download the appropriate code snippets from our online portal, https://related.wordnik.com. Just sign in with your Related Content credentials and you’ll see a list of each site with an option to “Get Code.” From those screens you’ll be able to choose JS and insert them however you wish.
Great, thanks!
I’ll forward to our engineering team. In the meantime, please upgrade to 0.6.4. We included some fixes for IE support in that version that may help with this issue.
ATeaspoonOfTurmeric, sorry to hear that. Can you send us an email at [email protected] with your URL and we’ll debug?
Thanks,
ThomasPreena,
Sorry the settings page is proving elusive. Did you download it from the WP repo (here) or from https://related.wordnik.com? Also, have you activated it from your plugins page?
We fixed this problem last week and you should see all links open in same tab. Please let me know if that is not the case.
geekmami, sorry to hear that we’re not working properly with IE. If you can reactivate and send me a link as an example, I’d love to check it out and debug.
Mslivin,
Thanks for the heads up. The links should open in the same tab — that’s a bug and we’ll have it fixed in our next release. It will probably be a server-side release so you won’t have to upgrade your plugin.
Thomas
Sreejesh,
I’m going to go ahead and mark this as resolved. Please let me know if you have any more issues.
CieraH,
Thanks for the heads up. We’ve pushed a fix in the latest plugin that should take care of that — our links should only show on posts.
Please upgrade and let me know if you have any other concerns.
Sorry to hear that you couldn’t log in. Did you register when you installed the plugin? Did you try manually refreshing the page? Also, we’ve fixed some bugs in our password reset feature so you can try that again as well.
Just as a reminder, your regular Wordnik.com credentials won’t work.
Please let us know if these tips don’t work.
