after updating to a newer WooCommerce version (3.3.4) you plugin runs fine.
So I’m pleased to close this issue.

Where is the need to downgrade the plugin that much when it works good?
Isn’t it a bit disrespectful towards the programmer? How would you feel?

please forget the former eply.

I think I have found the possible direction.
After checking through the list of products again, I found one with no relatives in both other languages.
I deleted this lonely product and violà your plugin worked again!
And this without reindexing.

So if a product isn’t created for all languages the AWS search doesn’t work correctly.
Please havea look into this direction.

I just have one possible idea:
with another plugin a faulty behaviour occured “only” on the setup with WordPress DE (maybe with others as well), but not in the English version.
Therefore if you could try to test your plugin with another language version of WordPress you are able to detect the error.
It would be great.

During the weekend I have completed the products in all 3 languages and reindexed you are right this morning it was working.

Happily I placed a new product (1 language) reindexed and the same mismatch as before: search for all 3 languages are giving only Geman products as a result in all 3 languages.

I ckecked the database and the aws_index includes keywords in all 3 languages.
I have truncated the table and reindexed, the same.
Any Idea?

If I go there to the Spanish version of the website I get for “Aceite” the result “Nothing found”, but on the same Spanish page I get for “?l” a listing of products in German version.

Where ever I search I just get the German products – German is the favorite language – for Spanish and Polish it’s stated “Nothing found”.
You may look for e.g. German ?l / Spanish: Aceite / Polish: Olej

The standard Product Search – currently on the left sidebar – does give the exakt results.

I have tried it and it works fine, just that I had no clue where to find the ID and just used “1” and it worked.

But I was looking for a more elegent solution for function.php and found it:

Thank you. I have translated the Plugin in WordPress Translate into German.

With only WooCommerce 3.2.6., Polylang 2.2.7 and Hyyan WooCommerce 1.0.4. enabled I get the same result: the product in the new language starts always with tax class “standard”. Theme is Storefront.
Switching of and on tax classes works fine.
I will try to make a clean set-up over the weekend and adding the plugins to see i I can reproduce when it breaks.

– All Metas wee set active by default.
– no Caching active
I tried again and could reproduce he error.
I will write a bug report on github.
