In reply to: [A-Z Listing] Stopped working in latest version with shortcodeHello, I was able to resolve this by tweaking the code.
IIRC the problem was specifically this part, which I took from a previous example snippet:
get-all-children="yes"

In reply to: [Instant Indexing for Google] Doesn’t work at allSo you have checked your server logs to confirm Google didn’t crawl your site? In that case, I would check your firewall or similar to work out where you are blocking Google.

In reply to: [Instant Indexing for Google] Doesn’t work at allIt sounds like you are saying the plugin works 100% correctly, just that the indexing API didn’t work as you expected.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] v4.4.3 CSS HTTP/2 PushHi, I also noticed this was missing. Would be good to hear about.
You could put your WordPress site behind a password (eg using htaccess) or IP whitelist in your firewall.
You didn’t think to Google the error first before leaving this bad review?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. At the end of the day it is your plugin, so you are free to do what you wish.
Just to address a couple of your points:
> 1) The link is added using javascript and is not crawled by google
I am an experienced SEO professional and I can confirm this information is false. Google has crawled and indexed javascript content for many years now, by default. To see what is rendered you have to use the Fetch as Google tool, not view page source.
> 3) Showing a “Powered By” link a common practice among a lot of SaaS providers including OptinMonster and Privy.
Totally up to you as the plugin developer of course, but personally this is exact reason why I would NOT install a service. The plugin would have to provide a huge benefit to justify this.

In reply to: HTTP ERROR 500If your host can’t help, the steps I would take would be to basically start again – delete WordPress files from new host, reinstall WordPress and try again using an import tool or similar.
Hi Fotis,
Thanks for looking at this and for the code example you provided. I will consider it.
To be honest I will probably use a different related posts solution in the coming days – my worry is how Google will see this – having such a large amount of content as hidden text is at best misleading and unnecessary, at worst it is dangerous for SEO and could lead to lost search rankings. If it was just 20 words or so it would be fine, but it is taking way too much text from the articles.
