@lkring It’s a clear plug-in issue that needs to be fixed as it worked previously. I browsed through the forum and another user found that rolling back to version 1.6.3 and contact form 7 to 5.1.7 makes it work. I did this myself on my site and it worked. Hopefully, they actually take this issue seriously in the next update.

While this is a little annoying another user found that downgrading to CF7 5.3.2 fixes this problem. I tried it out and it does work.
