Download all of your plugins via ftp. Then, get wingrep (wingrep.com), right-click your downloaded plugins folder, select ‘Windows grep and search all for ‘jqueryc’.

For ‘File Specifications’, select *.* (this will search all files since they all have an extension such as .php). Deselect ‘count files first’, put your search string in (jqueryc) and click ‘OK’.

That will show you all your plugins using this in the php code. Deactivate each one until the error goes away. If it was like my site, you may have to do this for a couple days as the error was random, until you happen on the right plugin (I had 5 plugins using that and I have over 100 plugins on my site). In the end, it should resolve your issue.

For me, it was the ‘Pinterest Automatic’ plugin.

Also.. can you still login to your admin panel?

Sorry.. just saw the url. I see it’s not working.

My webhost also displays that message when their pages timeout. Generally, it’s because they host crappy servers that don’t allocate enough memory resources to your site. When you hit the upgrade button, it chokes and times out… usually messing your site all up. I had it happen my last upgrade.

Did you backup your old database and folders before the upgrade or no?

Admin site aside, does the url to your site still work?

Amazing to me that so many people don’t do due diligence when upgrading. Make a database backup and backup your folders. Then.. guess what? You have a magical “downgrade to previous version” button!

Problem is on your end. I’ve downloaded it to 3 different machines the last 2 days. Works great.

Look in the mirror before you start spouting ignorance at others.

If you guys screwed up the ‘upgrade to 2.8’ button, what’s to make you think you won’t screw up the ‘downgrade to 2.7’ button? ??

You could also go to your root directory (www.grxx.com) and rename index.php (or any index.htm, index.html page) so we can see your directory structure and tell you right where your blog is.. or if you just simply didn’t do the install right.

Word… All is well. You will survive this. ??

But.. if you’ve already transferred new files up with filezilla and did not save the old directories, all of your images are likely gone.. and if you did any previous enhancements to your code.. such as header.php, index.php, style.css.. these are all gone for good.

When you save posts, pages, etc.. these get stored in the database that you have. When you upload images and stuff, they get stored in the images folder.. so you’ll still end up with a half wrecked site, even after your database recovery.

Do NOT use the auto updater. It blows and always causes issues.. do ftp upgrades. It’s easy and much more reliable.

On the other hand.. did you not make a sql backup and backup your folders first? So long as you do this.. you will never ever lose everything. Always easy to restore.

Do you just backup your database? Did you not backup your wordpress folders by downloading them in an ftp client first? If not.. you are fubar’d.
