Just tested in IE and it works great for me.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work. The ‘User Roles’ still doesn’t do anything for me. I can create a login for you if you’d like to see.

Just reactivated the plugin, deleted all IPs, tried just admin and a combination of other user roles. No luck.

I also just verified that Site Role is Administrator.

That was fast. ?? 5 stars.

Aha! Thanks, filamentworld. I had downloaded this for the first time ever yesterday and couldn’t understand what I was missing – but it turned out that I wasn’t missing anything.. just half of it’s broken now. I went and grabbed 4.3 version and everything works perfectly!

Looks pretty slick when it actually works right. Guess I’ll be sure and not update!

I appreciate the update.. unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. The behavior is different but now..

The RC interface shows a ‘0’ for the score and doesn’t allow the user to change that. “No biggie” I thought.. probably have to vote first. I changed the average to 4.8 and the users to 6. It updated the score to 28.8. It’s multiplying the users and average for score now instead of just maintaining a constant value of 5 (or whatever score is being used).

also tried setting the ratings to a 10-star system. It still doubled ratings_score and set it to 20 in the database after voting on the post.

Strange thing is that this only happens after using ratings cheater to update first.. and then voting on the post itself.

Is this broke? I have my ratings set at 5 but every time I update the ratings through the wp admin interface and then go out and bring the post up and vote, it changes my 5 star rating to a 10 star, which drops the average down to around 1.
Any ideas? Love the plugin … hoping I can make it work right! Thanks!

I could see where that could be the cause neo, but not likely it’s the cause for most people. It certainly wasn’t for me. Mine was a theme from directly downloaded from the developer about a month ago and I have had no foul play on my server.. checked that out first thing.

Deactivating the plugin took care of it for me.

But granted.. one good injection could easily cause it.. or a black hat plugin that was modified.
