In reply to: [WordPress Slider Block Gutenslider] Can’t Edit Slider after latest update@eedee I have identified a problem in the workflow of editing a slider block.
When an end-user clicks on the “Edit Slides” they are immediately taken to a standard-looking WordPress Media Library. However, it is not at all obvious that all the existing slides are already selected, and the user must CTRL or CMD ? before clicking anything, or they will erase the existing selection. This is a major burden to any user will more than a few images already loaded in their site.
The expect behavior is that when a user clicks “Edit Slides”, any dialog that appears will not erase the existing slides without adequate warning.
There are no browser console errors when perform this action, this appears to be a bug in the process flow itself not an unexpected code problem.
Support,
I am happy to know a fix is forthcoming. I am perplexed at your response:
Deactivating the Gutenberg plugin might prevent this error, but there’s probably a reason you have it active.
since the whole point of the plugin is to make Gutenberg compatible blocks.
I’ll check back for updates periodically. Thanks for the response.
Thank,
William

In reply to: [WordPress Slider Block Gutenslider] Focus point@eedee I would love to see this feature too. I was hoping to use WP SmartCrop but it has no effect on slideshows. I was really hoping it would all “just work” like SquareSpace does.
I’ve played with the auto center settings, and those work great. I’m hoping to nudge this feature forward, and would happily subscribe the pro version just for such a feature.
