Thanks much for your timely response. My PHP is 5.4.21 BBPress Notify (no spam) worked fine prior to my update to current version. Once updated it no longer worked. I returned to the former version 1.8.1 and it works fine now but would like to update if possible. I am not very savvy as to editing so would very much appreciate your response in NEWBIE language. Thanks again for your support.

Updated to latest version BBPRESS as well as BBPRESS Notify (no spam). Email notifications stopped sending email. Got following Fatal Error msg:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/mywebsite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress-notify-nospam/bbpress-notify-nospam.php on line 443

Uninstalled latest and reverted back to 1.8.1 and now working fine. What do I need to do to enable upgrade?
