Could you please tell me where that is located. I can’t figure out if this is a Theme coding error or if it is my improper placement of table code that is causing this problem.

Okay, this is what I understand thus far. Since this will be my “home page” that I designate as the static page then I think I can use the conditional tag is_front_page().

I think that will now allow me to remove the header from the front_page.

How do I do that? What the code changes? What file needs to be changed?

Is it possible to select a single page on my site and not have a header for that page only?

I’d like to have a squeeze opt-in similar to this but of course on topic and would like to not have the header but just the opt-in box.

I would like to keep my other content pages with the header however.

I copied both the single.php and then the one-column template and made the only change I could find which was a class command to one-column.

That indeed caused the text and pictures of the post to go to a single column format but the second column remained with its widgets.

Any suggestions….

How do I create the PHP …

Do I do it exactly like the css ….

place a new header.php and footer.php in the child folder?

Do I save the entire new file for each?
