changed “geolacate” to “no location by default”

“order received thank you” page works with no errors.

replaced background with background color, which showed IE now good;
firefox reverted to white #fefefe ; chrome showed grey #ececec

put both background and background color in, which showed both IE and firefox now good; chrome stayed grey #ececec

making progress with this; cleared chrome cache again, so not sure
why chrome does not respond.

yes, the cache is cleared on a regular basis.
will try the code change.
am assuming from your response that the menu should
appear similar in all browsers ?

no,was only assuming it may be the plugin because of the reference to mce in the error message.
i imported 35 pages from the old static html website, and only this one (1)is locking up in page editor; others are ok
script errors are out of my technical ability realm

reversed back to error when updated. back to square one.
will not open in firefox; long delay to open in chrome.
any input to fix corrupt file welcome.

the page was from previous static html website, so i imported it again using html import 2 plugin, and it works fine. had to start from scratch
with edit & changes, but that is faster than trying to figure out a corrupt file.

yes, a helpful guide.
have started with the “post name” option to keep it simple, but found the trailing slashes disappear when using slug field with yoast seo.
read some previous forums on this, but uncertain of the answer.
not sure if i even need them or not, so just getting started i am using the recommended hyphens, and not entering trailing slashes.

that did it.

everything looks neat and clean, as the menu boxes are back in place,
and the grey borders are gone from all of the content.
