Thanks for the offer of help, I appreciate it. One post that you might look at, if you have the time, is:

The image I hope to use is the one at the top of the post. It’s an 80×80 image, so that might be part of the problem, but it used to work!I took you advice and tried out the twitter validator, and while I’m not sure I’m doing it properly, the result seems to be that there’s something wrong with my posts. That is, if I enter the full link for an individual page I get a “Invalid card type” message. However, if I enter the shortened link above, the card tester says the link is OK, so I’m not sure what’s up.
Thanks again, wjackman
You called it correctly – I needed to configure the Social Settings in All in One SEO. My blog posts are now appearing in Facebook the way they used to. Thank you very much for the assistance and consider this problem solved.
Thanks for the help. I took a look at my blog on another computer and saw the sharing buttons that way; it must be that they don’t show up when logged into the blog as an admin.
The plug-ins that are currently activated are:
Akismet
All in one Favicon
All In One SEO Pack
Dagon Design Sitemap Generator Plus
Extended Comment Options
Fast Secure Contact Form
Google XML Sitemaps
IntenseDebate
Jetpack by WordPress.com
podPress
Polldaddy Polls & Ratings
Quick Adsense
Twitter Follow Me Box
Ultimate Google Analytics
VideoPress
WordPress Hashcash
Wordpress Video Plugin
WP-DBManagerAs I look at the list, I suppose I could eliminate some of them; a number were put in before Jetpack came along.
I have had the same problem with posting to Facebook, and the same lack of improvement after disconnect/reconnect. I also tried deactivating/reactivating Jetpack. The problem began as soon as I updated to WordPress 3.8.
I have also noticed that the “Publicize” widget is also not placing sharing buttons on my blog either, though I’ve tried to get that to work also.
My blog site is https://www.limulussystems.com/blog/ if that helps solve the problem.

In reply to: Everything is blue in Internet ExplorerThanks a lot for looking, but that’s very strange… my wife just two days ago sent me a screenshot from her work, showing my blog clearly as deep blue in IE. I guess that if it looks OK for most people, I won’t worry. Maybe it’s something on her end. I’ll have to ask around to see if other people have the same problem.
