In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast is gone…I do have the exact same problem, I can′t even see the YOAST folder which I am told already exists via FTP in the /plugins folder (so I can not delete it before reinstall).

Another update, Cais:
The upload problem (for which I had openend another thread a couple of months ago) has miraculously solved itself!
After the reinstall of NGG uploads still did not work, after I played with the options of my cache program (Comet Cache), enabling gzip-Compression again, the upload function of NGG suddenly worked again! HOOORRRAAAAY!
(I don′t know if this has anything to do with Comet Cache, but maybe this idea helps somebody else).Best regards
ChristianDear Cais,
thank you for your quick help!!! The reset plugin did not do the job, NGG remained unvisible/unlisted in the plugin section.
But your second advice worked perfectly, after deleting and reinstalling NGG it′s working again, all my existing galleries are on display again. Great! Thx a lot!
(my hope that with the reinstall I could fix my upload-problem, too, was not fulfilled (the NGG upload function still producing errors), so I have to stick to my tiring work-around).

ChristianHi Cais,
I have asked in EWWWIO Support forum, they said the error with “duplicate key names” in the error log has been fixed in their last update 2 days ago. Yet the upload problem remains.
The mentioned error (first post) pointing to EWWWIO is not recorded anymore, some of the last entries in my “regular” logfile read like this:
aconcagua.de anon-85-179-136-125.telefonica.de – – [16/Apr/2015:11:45:36 +0200] “POST /?photocrati_ajax=1&action=upload_image&gallery_id=315&gallery_name=&nextgen_upload_image_sec=9fbd2f87ad HTTP/1.1” 200 558 “https://www.aconcagua.de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.118 Safari/537.36”
aconcagua.de anon-85-179-136-125.telefonica.de – – [16/Apr/2015:11:45:23 +0200] “POST /?photocrati_ajax=1 HTTP/1.1” 200 558 “https://www.aconcagua.de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.118 Safari/537.36”
Maybe this helps?
(I tried again to deactivate all other plugins except NGG, switching themes etc.)

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] EWWWIO conflict with NextGen GalleryHi,
I checked the error log again, no new errors “recorded” for yesterday′s failed uploads (I don′t have a clue why, sorry).
the aforementioned error message is not showing up in the regular log either. These are the last recordings:
aconcagua.de anon-85-179-136-125.telefonica.de – – [16/Apr/2015:11:45:23 +0200] “GET /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_addgallery_page/static/plupload-2.1.1/jquery.plupload.queue/img/backgrounds.gif HTTP/1.1” 304 – “https://www.aconcagua.de/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_addgallery_page/static/plupload-2.1.1/jquery.plupload.queue/css/jquery.plupload.queue.min.css?ver=4.1.1” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.118 Safari/537.36”aconcagua.de anon-85-179-136-125.telefonica.de – – [16/Apr/2015:11:45:36 +0200] “POST /?photocrati_ajax=1&action=upload_image&gallery_id=315&gallery_name=&nextgen_upload_image_sec=9fbd2f87ad HTTP/1.1” 200 558 “https://www.aconcagua.de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.118 Safari/537.36”
I see that EWWWIO is not mentioned (anymore) but maybe you have an idea.
I have tried all the “workarounds” with standard themes, deactivating all other plugins etc. but the problem with the uploads persists.
Kind regards

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] EWWWIO conflict with NextGen GalleryOkay, that was yesterday′s errorlog, there was in fact a severe lag.
I′ll check again tomorrow, maybe today′s fails are listed then.
What about the first errorlog I posted in the original post?
See you tomorrow ??

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] EWWWIO conflict with NextGen GalleryHi,
no, I use the “regular” EWWW IO, no cloud API.
The error persists, EWWWIO active or deactivated.
I can view the errorlog, the last actions are these (for some reason, today′s failed uploads are not listed in the errorlog yet). I don′t know if this is any help.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] EWWWIO conflict with NextGen GalleryHi,
thanks for the quick reply!
In my “panic” I first deactivated, then uninstalled EWWWIO (more patience, young Padawan! ?? ).
I have reinstalled the new version, but the problem persists….
I have not touched anything in EWWWIOs options so far. Is there anything I should have a look at?
Cheerio
ChristianHi
good news! I tried your advice, but had some problems to find the correct options, because all headlines like “NextGen Basic Thumbnails”, “Basic Slideshow” etc. were invisible/blank and the “Save” button wasn′t working either
So I looked into “Other options” and tried out the good old “Set back to default options” (or whatever it is called in English, I use the German version).
And HORRAAY! Almost all galleries are displayed again! At least all the galleries which I had inserted via NGG-shortcode [nggallery id=XXX], just about 10-15 which I had inserted via the “attach to post” button are still missing (plus there is an “exclamation mark” in the editor), I will change that manually, it′s not that much work.
Thank you very much for your great support, Cais!
Kind regards
ChristianHello Cais,
thanks for coming back to my problem.
Although it is quite some work, I wanted to choose to insert all the galleries manually again (since the rest of the site is fine).
BUT:
The usual method of inserting “[nggallery id=275]” does not work, there is still the message “can not display this gallery”.
The other method of “green button”/attach NGG to post does” not work either, because the first option “choose layout” (Basic thumbnail etc.) is blank (I can choose one specific gallery in the next option “what do you want to display?”) and I can′t save the “command”, the “save” button is not reacting.Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Cheerio from Berlin
ChristianI guessed so. ??
So I have deactivated the EWWWIO plugin, deleted it and installed the WP-Optimie plugin to “optimize” my database. Well, that did not work out that well ??The result was that not a single NGG Gallery is displayed on my page anymore. It′s either “Invalid Displayed Gallery” or “We cannot display this gallery”…
Do you have a quick solution for that issue, Cais? I would REALLY appreciate to have my old galleries back in display ??
Have a nice weekend!
Christian
Okay, sorry, I am used to the outcry “Double Post” from other forums. I have opened an own topic.
Thanks for your support in this forum!Christian
WP and NGG are both up to date.
I have also tried the advice from another thread to change to an Twenty standard theme, nothing changes….
C.
I have the same problem, it started a couple of days ago. I haven′t figured out wether it is caused by NGG itself or by other pic-related plugins.
I have deactivated and reactivated all plugins, deactivated other pic-related plugins, but no success.
The error message I receive from NGG is:
“An unexpected error occured. This is most likely due to a server misconfiguration. Check your PHP error log or ask your hosting provider for assistance.”I have checked the Log file via myphp, that′s what it read:

Does anybody have an idea? Thanks for your help!
