not sure what i did but after mucking with the css its much better (still a bit more fine tuning tho)

Chunky: your tip on the ul helped a bit I think…

I created a <ul id="pagelist"> and styled it to suit ??

it seemed to play nicely with the ‘.page_item’s css so I dare not muck with it any more ??

You’ve got me wondering now

Can the search function be told how many results to be shown,
10 or 20 per page? (kinda like google)

That way if you did find 100+ results you could thin the search down a bit without loading a big page.

ps: I’m not that fond of long pages either.

ps: i dont have a scrollbar, 102 posts or any worries about speed but i guess if your on 28k it would be a pain ??

The above handy tip from Kafkaesqui works in the default 1.5 search.php too!
just change the the_excerpt to the_content and your search results will include and links ??

How the heck do I get the ‘Archived’ pages to show the original links in the posts? ??

Ok I changed the error line to:

as thats what it looked like it was asking for. It makes the feed work but this hasn’t solved it.

Well after many hrs I still havn’t fixed it….its FOOBAR*D ??
I’ve replaced “wp-blog-header.php” & “wp-rss2.php” with the originals.
The “wp-commentsrss2.php” is still working fine (thats whats odd).
I also replaced the links in the index in case there was something mucked-up in there so thats original now too.
After all sorts of fixes its still got the Parasing error ??
