which version of wordpress are you using? if you do not get an add new button you can also click on the large box with a plus sign after the themes you already have available on your WordPress Themes page.

to show the full posts instead of the read more or […], go to wordpress -> click on posts -> select the post you want to show as full text. After selecting the post you will have two options above the content of the post saying ‘Visual’ and ‘Text’. Click on ‘Text’ and you will find <!–more–> tag. Remove this tag and you should be able to see the full text on the website after refreshing the page.
