In reply to: How to Remove All Elements of a Theme?Hi Joy,
I understand better from your explanation how a theme can write in other areas where WordPress technical support would not know. That assumption was based upon the workings of the WP CODEX.
With great appreciation, I would like to thank you and Davood for the number of responses you’ve given to bring forth a solution.
Kind regards,

In reply to: How to Remove All Elements of a Theme?Davood, as I stated before clearly, the theme is no longer supported, the company went belly up – the question as I have stated now several times, is what file or folder (artifacts) which are left over could impact WP from a theme uninstall.
From what I have gathered from these responses it is unknown to WP support which files, after an uninstall, are left over which could be impacting a reinstall of the same theme. I am thinking the WP CODEX protocol would determine where the files of a theme are located and how they are to interact with WP.

In reply to: How to Remove All Elements of a Theme?Responding to Joy – I do not have any problems using a different theme and its saving – it.
Now Davood: Headway theme is the problematic theme which must be leaving artifacts. It is the this (artifacts) I want to remove.

In reply to: How to Remove All Elements of a Theme?Hello Joy,
I will follow Davood’s advice and install a fresh WP however I still would like to know why is this theme unable to be saved. What is being left behind after the removal of the theme. It is more of a matter of where WP holds these files which are either artifacts or other files which have been impacted. Are theme removals likely to leave artifacts behind, if so, where?
Kind regards,
wb

In reply to: How to Remove All Elements of a Theme?Davood – I am simply asking how do you remove all elements of a theme? This, I would think is a WP platform matter. If the theme developer is no longer available – WP support should be able to answer this question. This same theme is used on other sites with no issues. Uninstalling the theme on this particular site evidently is not complete or has possibly impacted other scripts.
Thank you for your assistance.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Why not create a H5P widget?Hello Andrew,
Thank for the welcome, would like to add that SiteOrigin has always been a great friend and asset with many within the WordPress community and here at home.
About joining in with the H5P project, this also will help to guide users to SiteOrigin great work. Those over at H5P, like SiteOrigin, are accommodating and creative. Let me be clearer on what I see. H5P has its WordPress widget which works seamlessly. As an example, what I have envisioned is for Team SiteOrigin to create container types so that H5P content would have a much smaller footprint on a page – one such a container would be utilizing a SiteOrigin popup. Another such container would be a “Take Action” SiteOrigin widget.
SiteOrigin popup Here would be one such scenario: On a page would be: “Vote.” You would hit the object (link) to open a SiteOrigin popup and then the reader would interact with the H5P test or survey. This popup would also accommodate a Youtube video with text, multiple videos (grid layout) or a H5P gallery.
Why would SiteOrigin need to produce a container or special widgets for H5P? Answer: The SiteOrigin widget can allow the author of the H5P script to be easily seen while in widget view within the PageBuilder’s text editor’s visual view mode (as an example). Another instance would allow the reader to interact with elements of H5P, while the actual H5P object/script resides within the popup. Conditional paths would be an example. Yet another reason in creating this integration with H5P is because no other page builder has this ability, which is another reason why SiteOrigin sets a part from the others ??
Conditional statements: A branching statement would open the relevant H5P popup. Example: If the reader is asked a question – yes or no, the SiteOrigin widget would then open up the relevant H5P popup (a SiteOrigin popup) on that page or take the reader to page_x.
FancyBox by RavanH (another great WordPress developer) may co-exist on a page or within a popup utilizing Lightbox for displaying media.
This information may help give ideas on project integration with H5P, if SiteOrigin desires.
Cheers,
wB

Hi Andrew,
I apologize for the late response, it was hidden in a SO email folder. Unfortunately you overlooked that my message is about non-coders being able to add captions not someone who can work with code.
Kind regards,
