Hi thanks for the response. I am using domain mapping. I ran 2 tests, one with a cname added for the new site, one without. Both clones performed successfully. I did not save the logs. For some reason I still get the zero seconds alert message at the top of my page at /wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=ns-cloner , yet phpinfo() shows max_execution_time set to 60. I did a find to look for another php.ini but only found one other for cli. Anyway, as I said, both clones were successful. I was just confused by the zero seconds alert message. May be someone else will read this and shed light. But no worries in the meantime. Thanks again, great plugin.

There are 4 ways to run backups:
1. manually only
2. with WordPress cron [currently set, works sometimes.]
3. with a link: /wp-cron.php?_nonce=674f3cc1&backwpup_run=runext&jobid=1
[tried with cron, unsuccessful]
4. Use WP-CLI to run jobs from commandline or get the start script.

It may be cross browser, because under the youtube share, if you check to use Use old embed code, which uses the object tag instead of iframe, it works.

However, the flash freezes safari on my 4S iPhone.
