I just finished upgrading the select files as the blog post defined, and I am also getting this fatal error. I have done nothing but upload the files to upgrade my 2.0.6 install. I’ve run wp-admin/upgrade.php to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: I did a full upgrade as suggested above and it did the trick.

As far as bumping goes, it can affect your chances of getting support, however, bumping after a day (or two) isn’t so bad.. As it’s probably fallen down quite far in the list anyways. ?? At least that’s my views on it.

Now for the sidebar issues. Sorry I haven’t replied recently – my MBP keeps crashing and it’s been hard to find this thread again. ?? Isn’t absolute positioning is how the sidebar is in a clean install of Classic? If so, it moves with the width – I was trying. :/ I could try something like “Sandbox”.. Though I actually have tryed to edit the theme before and I didn’t have much success.

So yeah, I’ll give a try I guess, though a fix for the problem with Classic would’ve been ideal.

It could be easier – but I can never find a theme that’s “bones” are similar to what I want, and I’ve found it to be more work to remove things than add them. That’s why I’d like to build this theme from the basics – using Classic.

Yeah, it took 22 messages. Their support isn’t that greaet.

Anyways, I’ve got a fix. While I was rummaging through those links, I was talking to a friend on MSN, who linked me to a Media Temple support article, which contained the answer. You just have to modify the .htaccess file slightly to get it to work (add two lines of code/text). I explained it at https://winnopeg.com/archives/145/mod_rewrite-fix-for-media-temple/ should anyone else have this problem.

No, I haven’t asked them, particularly because it took 22 messages to get my WordPress MySQL database uploaded and working. I was hoping someone here would use Media Temple and know what’s up.
