In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Facebook taking “default” image over image in the articleHi – I have just been updated to WP5/gutenberg and am having the same issue.
I however can not find a way how to set, edit or specify the ‘og:image’property (as explained on the FB sharing debugger). There is no such option in the featured image tool in the new gutenberg interface. This is becoming a source of great frustration, both in Facebook and Linkedin.
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Hueman] No social Icons above left sidebar? Thanks Mark,
I must have the right version – I have managed to get the icons to work just as a link to my respective pages in a separate window. It is not what I had hoped for but I have gone back to this theme as it looks definitely better than the alternatives. I can live withthis technicality for now and sort this out later ??
Thanks again for your quick help! Have a great day.
Winfried.

In reply to: [Hueman] No social Icons above left sidebar?Dear Mike,
Thanks for the prompt response.
I have done some homweork, I can the icons for social media to appear – so fa- is no problem.
But here is where I am stuck: It seems that adding the right URL code is more complicated. Simply putting a link to my respective profiles does nothing more than work like a conventional link. I expected these fa-icons/buttons should behave in the same way as a facebook or twitter follow button. Generally it appears that this requires a java applet…(The link to Ver.2.15 download does not seem to work – I get a completely blank page!)
Although I love the look of the template, having headings that are confusing and not easily editable (I’d rather “follow” worked, I don’t actually want to change the heading as it looks great!) unfortunately is a show-stopper and for now I am using another template. I do however hope that we can get this working soon so I can switch back. It is a great looking template!
Thanks again, have a great day,
Winfried.
