Thank you for the suggestion. There are lots of other providers around, but for the moment I’m planning to stay with Twilio. The support they give and their documentation is exceptional, which makes it easier for me to support users of the plugin.

There is no way that users can unsubscribe using the Lite version.

The Pro version allows users to unsubscribe via a text message. Presumably even if you’re sending out voice messages, people could still opt-out via a text message?

Have you added a number to your Twilio account?

Login to your Twilio account and go to https://www.twilio.com/console/phone-numbers/dashboard. You should be able to select your Twilio number there.

It should be in the table cell next to the subscribe button. In the HTML below, I’ve updated the last table row to include the div where the messages are written.

Hi Dusty,

The plugin uses your theme’s default text colour to write the “Subscribing you to the group…” message, then responds in either red or green text, depending on the whether an error occurred or when the subscription was successful.

Do you have the “<div id=”jot-subscribemessage”></div>” added to the bottom of your form? This is where the response messages are written to.
