Thanks for the quick reply! I don’t have any caching plugins running. )I have Super Cache installed but it wasn’t activated). I tried deactivating most of my other plugins, but I’m still not seeing IRT on my posts.
I then deleted all the custom CSS I had, and I’m still not seeing the heart.

any other ideas?

I set the line-height to 1.6 then 1em and neither changed the spacing at all:

Apologies for not being very good at explaining what I mean. I’ve been using the plugin for a while and while I have read the tutorials it’s definitely possible I don’t know what I’m doing ??

The large-feature image for my site has a width of 940, which is the max for my theme.Under media settings it’s set to be 940×640. Retina2x is generating all the retina images, according to

For horizontal featured images I’ve been uploading images that are 1880px wide and that words fine.

For a long time I couldn’t get square images to work, if I doubled the size it just was twice as big. I finally constrained the height of the featured image using CSS to 640px.

If I upload a square image at 1880×1880 my assumption was that it would load the square image at twice the height – 1280×1280. But it’s not, it’s showing up at 940×940.

So clearly I’m not understanding something, just not sure what I’m not understanding.

You’re right Jordy. The 2x image in the content folder is twice the size. But my website is only loading the standard size. So I’m back to wondering why it won’t load the 2x version? ??

Since installing the plugin, I’ve been uploading photos at 1880 pixels wide to display at 940px. And the plugin would generate a 2x version at 1880.

Now, when I look in my content folder I have 2x images but they are all at the same size as the regular image, for example:
11.11.2013-940×626.jpg
11.11.2013-940×[email protected]

All of my 2x images, even to previous to when the problem started, are now named the same size as the standard image, even though I’m uploading retina-sized versions.

I do use Chrome. Could this be a Chrome issue? And how would it have resized all my existing retina images?

anyone had any luck figuring this out?

My safer option is to wait and see if my theme developer offers a quick fix….

I’m still unable to get the size adjust properly on my Soundslides project.

Currently, at https://www.willyurman.com/stories/?p=294
I outputted the Soundslides with the image size set to: 780×520

If I set that size on the WP post, using the plug-in it crops both the top and bottom.

So I increased the size to:
[soundslides width=”830″ height=”599″ id=”447″]

The controls show, but the image area exceeds the post area, and I still can’t see the fullscreen button.

any ideas on how to fix this?
