I do think that’s the solution, but I can’t figure out where to put that code – plugin doesn’t reveal the embed code on the post, I’ve been playing around with some kind of CSS that would be global for the site – but so far it’s beyond my ability.

I’m not sure if it’s related or not, but the first time I load the page from the home page, the photo don’t display. If I refresh the page, some of images appear, and some don’t.
If you start at:
psuinternational.org > Israel > Student Reporters

I find the same problem on Chrome and Safari.

I am realizing the spacing issue may be because of the social media links. It changes the height of those individual displays and messes up the grid.

I never heard back from you on this. I decided to just delete the plugin, but it leaves behind the short code at the bottom of each post [rs-likes]

I reinstalled the plugin and I’m back to double hearts that don’t seem to work properly.

Another quick question. The header image doesn’t resize on my iPhone, and then it shows up as the background for each menu item. It looks odd. Is that the way it’s supposed to function:

Quick update. I forgot I was using Jetpack. They have an option ‘Photon’ to load images from the wordpress.com servers for faster loading. I had forgotten I had implemented it.

Disabling that fixed the problem.

Just in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

Dreamhost says they don’t use caching,
“We wouldn’t automatically enable any caching mechanisms on your site
actually! If you had any for any part of the site in particular, you
would’ve had to enable that on your end.”

I’m hosted by Dreamhost. I don’t believe they use cPanel, at least not according to this link: https://besthostingsearch.net/tutorial/does-dreamhost-use-cpanel/

But I have some access to controls. Happy to try to solve this.

I’m not using PageSpeed or any plugin like it. I tried turning off all my plugins except yours, but that didn’t work either. (I’ve since turned them back on)
