In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] Question about the data request emailHi,
yes, it’s the comments user made on the site. If you wish to edit the email template you can do it in:
wp-content\plugins\gdpr-personal-data-reports\includes\mail\gdpr_report.phpThanks.

In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] Best GDPR free plugin for wordpressHi, thanks for you feedback,
Q1: In our opinion it is for the purpose of GDPR, the personal data is destroyed and account is not usable anymore. It is safer to anonymize then delete the whole account, but the site owner can still delete the account manually if they wish to do so.
Q2: It depends on how this is implemented between Facebook and WordPress site, so I am afraid I am unable to give a simple answer (and there probably is no simple answer to this anyway…)
Regarding your requests:
1. we are not planning to add cookie management as there are already good tools available for this like: https://www.civicuk.com/cookie-control,2. we are not planning to add anything like that, it should always be tailored to specific business scenario and reviewed by a solicitor.

In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] Error On RequestHi, if you have access to your error logs, can you please check if there is anything logged in them when you try to confirm? We don’t have a ‘gdpr_del_requests’ table, so it seems like you have other GDPR plugins running and, possibly, there is a conflict.

In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] Form protectionHi Nathan,
thanks for you feedback, the patched version addressing security vulnerabilities is now available. Regarding the form spamming, there is some validations that will partly prevent that. We are planning to add reCAPTCHA on top of that.
Best wishes,

In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] CSS needs tweakingHi Nathan,
for the GDPR forms you can pass your existing CSS classes to style the header, description text and the button by passing them as parameters in the shortcode, like in the example below:
[gdpr-forget-me-request-form text_classes=”class1 class2″ header_classes=”class3″ button_classes=”class4″]
Is that what you mean, or do you need more flexibility with this?
There is no option to easily add styling to the email at the moment other then editing the mail partials directly. A lot of the CSS in the emails need to be inlined to display correctly in some email clients, so this is a bit more complicated then doing it for the forms.
I will add this to our list of requested features and we will look into it as soon as possible. Thanks,

In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] Confirm Your GDPR Request does not workCan you please check if:
1. your confirmation includes to parameters &request=xyz&confirmation_code=xyz
If not, you could try to manually copy the link and see if that works?
2. in your database there is a table named ‘gdpr_requests’ present.
If not, you could try to re-install the plugin. If neither of the above fix your issue, please let us know.

In reply to: [GDPR Personal Data Reports] RandomnessHi Nathan,
thanks for all your suggestions. We will look into the anonymization process and try to improve it as per your comments.
I am adding all your other suggestions as feature requests for either the free or pro version. Most of them should not be difficult to implement. Thanks again for all your feedback,
